We’ve been stopping here each summer for several years. The setting is simply beautiful. We’ve visited wineries in several states, including Sonoma and Napa counties and Santa Ynez in California, but haven’t seen a better nature setting. The wine is good (try the Rosé and their estate Pinot Noir), and they’ve done a nice job adjusting to the pandemic with a cute service window in their tasting barn and outdoor seating. Driving through the towering pine/fir trees into this farm and vineyard is always a treat.

This winery is just down the street from the distillery, so we decided to stop in. The winery itself is very picturesque and they offer quite a few different reds and whites to taste. There is a $10 tasting fee which is taken off, if you purchase at least 2 bottles of wine. In between wine tasting, you can take your glass of wine upstairs and wander around the local artists that have set up shop there. I don't know if that's offered all of the time, but it was a weekend when we visited and they had great local items for sale.

Becoming a tradition with my friend... lunch at Pickles, then begin the drinking! I started drinking white wine this year- I’m definitely a red wine lover but mixing it up in warm summer days... Thought I’d try their whites...ended up buying their 2017 Chardonnay and the 2015 Pinot Noir since they no longer had their Malbec!... Friendly staff and good wines. You can buy a growler then bring back for refills. Buy two bottles and tasting is free. A taste is 4 glasses with decent pours. They also had a delicious feta cheese flavored with their wine made especially for them! Bought that too... it is divine!! Nice tasting room & pet friendly.

We are by no means ”wine snobs” - heck we picked this place by the name alone - but we’re so happy we did!! We had a 4 sample flight and we like all of them! Actually took 2 bottle home for later in the evening. Quaint property that had a space for a private reception / wedding and chairs out front. Pretty cool that almost every other visitor had a dog! I won’t recommend a wine - just advise to taste them all - you will probably find one that you’ll like. Very laid back atmosphere inside so appeals to us wine rookies.

Thank you so much for visiting! Happy to hear you enjoyed yourself and were able to take some wine home with you as well. Sounds like we had our garden area set up from one of our popular winemaker dinners we do in the Summer. Hope you can come back again soon!
