Fantastic Outing at a Low Price!
Oct 2017 • Family
We visited the Pierce College Science Dome last week with a middle school group from WAVA. What a wonderful experience! The Galaxy Guide gave us a wonderful tour of the night skies, including constellations, current research on exploration of the moon Europa, and a comparison of comets vs. asteroids. That was topped off with an amazing video on Black Holes. I am beyond impressed! All this for $35? This makes a great outing or field trip and what a fun birthday party for budding scientists!

Wonderful All Ages Show Even For Children
Apr 2016 • Family
We took our 5 and 9 year old sons and they were both enthralled with the experience. Highly recommend as a fun way to expose kids to the vast reality of our universe. The presenter was accessible and spoke in lay-terms for those of us who aren't well versed in the solar system, stars and galaxies. The movie we saw was Dream To Discover about NASA's engineering feats to capture information and images decades away from earth. Watching on the planetarium dome is similar to IMAX, just breathtaking. Campus security can help you find the Dome in the Rainier Building on the campus. Recommend!! Family approved!

Space, Galaxy, and Beyond

We visited the Science Dome yesterday and saw a fascinating presentation on space, starts, constellations, planets and beyond. I felt extremely insignificant when I left. They also have interactive kids' shows. I thoroughly the presentation and learned more than I expected.
