American Lake is one of the prettiest places I have visited. I love paddle boarding on this lake. I love seeing the eagles swoop down in front of me to catch fish. On a clear day you can see beautiful Mt Rainier.

The lake is beautiful but people are sketchy. While enjoying our day our 3 year old was saying hi to a group of kids who then began yelling, “Kill him! He’s white! Kill him!” Seriously? Who says that about a toddler? Way to raise psychopaths.
