This is a wonderful park! The open beach, the roomy path; it's a great spot to sit and have ice cream. It also has lots of storefronts directly adjacent to get food for your hangout. Parking fills up quick on nice days, so be ready for that.

Great place to watch the water activities. We walked from our hotel and enjoyed seeing the variety of people coming and going from the park. Did not try the restaurants but people seemed pleased with the service.

The waterfront at Marina Park is a quick fix for some respite in the midst of your busy week or even during the work day. For family fun, the park is a wonderful place on a weekend, lined with bars and restaurants serving quality food and many coffee shops to boost.

The waterfront marina was a fantastic venue for the Wine Festival! Plenty of tables with umbrellas for seating, a DJ spinning music, dogs are welcome & a good time was had by all!!!!

Marina Park is a lovely spot for a pleasant stroll or picnic. There's beautiful scenery, interesting statues and if you are lucky, a gorgeous sunset. Very clean too. Also, there are plenty of local shops close by to grab a coffee or treats, to enjoy in the park.
However, if you have parked in a nearby pay lot, make sure you check your time regularly. Otherwise, you will get a ticket from the very efficient and diligent parking monitors.

Lovely place to rest by the water, watch the ducks and the boats around the docks. Good community place - and a lovely market on Wednesdays!

My wife and I really enjoy this park as it is walking distance from restaurants. We enjoy ordering food from nearby restaurants and having a picnic at the park. On Wednesday afternoons during the summer the farmer's market is a great place to pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables as well as hanging out with friends. A sunny weekends finds this park very crowded in a good way with people from different countries enjoying the views of the lake and Seattle skyline.

The park is very nice, if a bit small. There are grassy areas, beach, a very large gazebo, and benches for relaxing. It's fun to walk out on the moorage docks and admire the various personal and commercial vessels docked there. There is a boat launch that requires a paid card to lower the gate. Since it isn't clear, nor convenient, to find a day pass for the launch, boaters without a card are constantly begging those with a card to cheat and lower the gate for them. Trailer parking is a few blocks away and there are way too few spots for the volume of boats that launch in the summer months. The launch dock is falling apart, and offers no protection from the large wakes caused by excessive boat traffic from the launch and nearby moorage docks. more than once my boat has been damaged by the poorly maintained wooden dock even with multiple bumpers deployed. Come for the park, but unless they improve the launch I will be looking for other boat launch options next summer.

I visited this park twice in the past week while passing through Kirkland. It's a relaxing spot to enjoy the water, wind, and have some peace and quiet.
