This park is nothing special except to say it is in town... Yes in town... Lots of woods and lots of horse trails. Well cared for trails. I prefer Nearby St. Edwards SP for hiking.

Beautiful walk in the woods, the horse droppings are not an issue as others mentioned. Just walk around if need be, the trails are amazing and I recommend it!

I love my runs on the trails through these woods. The surface is typically firm but forgiving. Many areas undulate and curve for variety. You can also breakout at the power line right of way for a straight and open segment. If you get disoriented...More

This is a great place for a walk - in the 1-3 mile range. The only problem is this park is BIG and if you go off path you could spend MANY hours finding your way back. The only other drawback is that the trails...More

This is a large space in Kirkland Washington that is specifically focused for horses. The large parking lot is easy for horse trailers and there are corrals available. Many of the local homeowners with horses will ride through the park so be aware of the...More

Bridle Trails state park is a beautiful, peaceful place to hike or ride your horse. There are loop trails of varying lengths. Old growth trees and a variety of vegetation make it seem like you are in a rain forest far, far away (albeit with...More

Bridle Trails State Park between Kirkland and Bellevue does make for a nice escape into the woods if you don't want to leave the city. You need a Discover Pass or $10 for the day as usual for a state park. Near the parking lot...More
