Drove over ( and took the Kingston Ferry ) from Seattle to see a live music show. I was pleasantly surprised at how well maintained the property was inside and out. The employees were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Though I am not a gambler I did enjoy a few adult bevy’s and a nibble. All were VERY good.
This destination is a little off the beaten path, though if you make the trip you will be very pleased.

I've made it my goal to try out every casino in WA state to see how each compare to each other as far as gambling goes. As per usual, I don't rate the food or the parking, etc that's for other folks. So I haven't been to the POINT in years, after getting my frustration level past boiling with Clearwater and the other tribal casino's in Western WA, I decided to come back to the Point to see how they've expanded and how their play is.
on my first trip, BAM, I hit about $600, every machine I played I got bonus spins pretty quickly and was able to build up my cash readily! Their selection of machines is pretty awesome, but I'm not sure why they separate the tickets. One half of the casino take Red tickets, the other half takes white tickets, which is super frustrating if your like me. I don't like to have to interrupt my flow stop, walk across the casino to cash in a Red ticket, so I can play in a White ticket machine. I want everything easy and no interruptions. They'd be ahead by going one way or the other. Also the layout needs some rethinking. Its very difficult to find the machines your looking for, and some machines are ALWAYS empty, while others you can't every get to. {triple fortune dragons} Also, add some better community player machines, like Monopoly or Ghost Busters. Sex in the City...blah....Micheal Jackson...meh....
So I find the machines towards the front and center of the aisles pay the best, maybe just fluke, but when I try to move in deeper into the casino, the machines were just dead. The higher denominations seem to pay better as well, but your money goes alot faster so beware. The Lightening jackpot machines give alot of play time, but when you get the bonus, 7 out 10 times I didn't win anything, so meh. The best bang for your buck in my opinion is the Killer Whale game, on the red ticket side. The progressives are nice and typically you'll leave up if you stick to it. Just remember to change that darn bingo card! { my rule of thumb, I change it till I get all single numbers in my B row}
My last two trips out here have returned nothing, maybe they've decided to cut me off already since I won my first 3 trips out, but we'll see. I'm not going back until I get my first free play cash in a month or so, I'll update then. I think the place is pretty darn clean, especially for being all smoking, & the selection of machines is good, but I will only drive 100 miles to gamble if my chances are better than not I will win. The Point, I'm not so sure if they are much better than other, the jury is out. IMO, they would be smart to have loose slots to attract folks to drive all the way out there to play. If you start cutting off your high roller players you'll be stuck with only locals and that won't sustain you in the long run. You have Clearwater just down the road that really focuses on bringing in folks from out of the area, so i guess its all what in how you market your casino. The night the male strippers were there, it was pretty crowded with 20 something females but none of them were playing machines. looks good but financially not sure it makes sense.
If I can give suggestions from a seasoned gambler who plays all over the US, the best casinos who attract the most players offers 1} has a good comp program and offers their older gamblers slot dollars throughout the week to keep them coming in 2} loosens their games during the day when the older players typically come in 3} has slot tournaments and free giveaways for ALL players, not just one random an hour. Like tote bags, t-shirts, etc. No kidding, one year at Fiesta Casino in Henderson NV they gave away apple pies to every player and the place was PACKED !! Lastly, announce or post your jackpots! Its very disheartening to be playing and never hear a jackpot announced. Or see them posted on a board. Keeps people's hopes up. WA state casino's could learn a few things ....how about cater more to your female gamblers, like free slot dollars on ladies night?
Good luck everyone and remember to keep your eye on the prize! Keep your limits and don't give up!

While Angel of the Winds says that they are the friendliest, The Point actually is without bragging about it. Everybody that you come in contact with are so nice that you feel right at home. Its our favorite casino even though its a long drive with a ferry ride. They pay for one way of the ferry and they have many generous promotions. We like their restaurants too.

I would love to be able to leave a good review, that would mean we had a good time. However, that was not the case. Up until today, we have been regulars here at this casino, spending large amounts of money with literally no wins. Today took the cake! We went into breakfast at the open little restaurant. 55 minutes after we had ordered an omelette and an order of French toast , our food still hadn't come out. While two other couples who had come in WELL after us, both received their meals. Unacceptable. Either get this restaurant up and running efficiently, or shut it down. This has been the slowest service we have ever received everytime we have gone in to have a meal there. We kept hoping it would get better, but it's only gotten worse every time!!! As far as the slots go, COVID is over people, ....loosen up your machines, COVID greed at the casinos has gotten out of hand.

Went for a concert it was so smoky and had to leave after 30 minutes even though we are usually quite OK with secondhand smoke. Went to the Clearwater Casino after which has a much larger non-smoking section and is a lot cleaner. Recommend going there instead.

The minute I walked in the door to the casino I knew I wouldn't be there long. The smoke was so bad that it irritated my eyes so I assume their ventilation system is not working properly - not a good thing, especially during COVID-19. To make matters worse, they try to cover it up with a cloyingly sweet smell that reminds me of the cherry pipe tobacco my uncle used to smoke. It was so pervasive it gave me a headache. I left after 15 minutes because I could not take it any longer (and I am a former smoker who generally is not bothered by smoke). It took nearly 30 minutes and a Coke to get the taste of cherry smoke out of my mouth. If you want to have a good gambling experience, skip The Point and go to Clearwater Casino about 20 minute away. Clearwater has banned smoking inside the casino (they have designated smoking areas in the parking garage) and have taken much greater care to ensure a safer environment for their customers.

Thank you for passing along your comments regarding your recent visit. We appreciate the feedback. We take great pride in keeping our machines and facility clean including ensuring that our HVAC is functioning properly. We will have to review this particular day that you visited. We are planning and look forward to expanding our non-smoking gaming area this fall. Thank you.

We had (or thought we did) reservations for three nights, and when we tried to check in, there was no record of our reservations. I heard my husband on the phone when he spoke with the reservation lady, so I know the conversation took place. We had driven for over two hours to get there and ended up turning around and going back home. The person at the check-in desk didn't even apologize for the dilemma, and only said they were full--on a Thursday night. We have stayed there multiple times in the past and have had a great time (despite the smoking) and were looking forward to a nice long weekend. We sent an email to The Point detailing what we had experienced and asked that the email be forwarded to the Manager, and we didn't get any type of reply. An establishment is only as good as their customer service.

I will start with the bad and move to the good.

So we were very disappointed with our room. We were supposed to have two queen beds. Even though they insisted these were queens, something was wrong. I measured the mattress and they were off by a few inches. A standard queen is 60 (W) x 80 (L). These were 54 (W) x 75 (L). When I told the people at the front desk, including the supervisor, they basically thought I was crazy because the sheets they buy are queen and fit just fine. I looked at the sheet sizes and mattress covers. The mattress covers are for RV Short Queen (confirmed by hotel personnel later). So we paid for queens but got RV Short Queens instead. This should be in the literature somewhere that these are not standard queen mattresses so people will know. It was an uncomfortable night's sleep.

The casino was awful. It is so freaking smokey that you can't stand it. It made the evening completely unenjoyable.

The only highlight was dinner at the Little Boston Bistro. We had the chowder, Cesar salad, New York strip, and Ribeye with added lobster tail. The chowder is packed full of seafood. It is creamy and delicious. The Cesar is good but just ok. The NY was very well cooked and delicious. The ribeye was amazing. The bone marrow butter was amazing. The lobster tail was perfectly cooked. Everything could have been warmer but it was very good.

The gambling sucked. The machines were so tight you couldn't win anything.

The hotel staff and hotel room part were fine, but the casino was a pretty terrible experience. I booked this trip 2 months in advance to celebrate my birthday with my 5 friends, booking 3 rooms. The casino staff and bartender manager were horribly rude to me and my guests. After being in the casino only two hours, we went to eat at the Little Boston Bistro, and two managers come in and tell my guests and I that we are no longer going to be served, and that we were banned from gambling. We asked why and what was going on. We were told that there was a person and/or staff member reporting that we were stumbling around, throwing up in the bathrooms, etc. I was shocked. I had only had 3 drinks at this point. All 6 of us were all drinking water and eating in the restaurant. I couldn't believe what was going on. We were so upset and did not understand why we were being treated like this. One of my friends got up and went to talk to another manager. After about 20 minutes he came back and said we were allowed to gamble now, but we would not be served alcohol at all. No offense, but we came to this casino to drink and gamble. We all just wanted to leave at this point, but having driven over 2 hours to come here specifically, we tried to make the most of this night. I have stayed at many casinos over the years and have never been cut off or treated so horribly by the staff and managers. We were absolutely not causing any problems and were not doing any of the things that we were told were happening. I didn't even gamble $20 worth, and left my $20 free play on my account which I never even got to use I was so upset. We all showed up with money to spend and expected to have a nice time. That was shot down within 2 hours of being in the casino. I will NEVER come back here. I should have gone to a different casino. Thank you for basically ruining my birthday weekend.

We went to The Point this afternoon hoping that the smoke wouldn’t be as bad in
the afternoon, but we were wrong. They have a new non smoking area that is bigger but you have to walk through the smoking area to get to it. They need to just make the whole place non smoking and set up a smoking area outside. We were hoping The Point would protect their investment of new carpeting by making the casino non smoking. Many of the casinos have in the area have gone to non smoking.

Thank you for the feedback. We plan to have a separate entrance to our non-smoking casino in the near future (Post Covid-19). The entrance will be out back. Thank you.
