The zoo is small compared to other zoos in the area but the exhibits make up for it. They have talking birds which are adorable and you get to see the tigers pretty close by in the Tiger exhibit. Good for spending a couple of hours in the area.

First time here, My boyfriend and I thought it would be cool to check it out during the Reindeer Festival. It is a smaller zoo, they emphasize on education. The workers and volunteers were all very friendly and were very informative. It was cool seeing Santa there, and meeting some of the Reindeer up close, We even got to feed... More

Visited this place after hearing highly about the deer display during Christmas. Seemed overhyped. The $15 entry fee is pricey for the displays they have.

My grandson had his 6th birthday at this zoo and it was my first visit. I bought him a membership as a gift! The animals are closer than in the larger zoos and the time it takes to walk through the whole place is much more tolerable for families with small children. The views are fantastic and the staff very... More

The enclosures were a little small, but were very well maintained. The zoo personnel were very courteous and helpful.

We enjoyed our visit. The zoo is up on a hill overlooking Lake Sammamish - beautiful. The zoo is small and sparkly clean. The staff do a terrific job of keeping everything looking good. You get a lot closer to the animals than you would at a larger zoo and we really liked that. Stations are sprinkled around the zoo... More

Well kept clean zoo with friendly staff. The format of the zoo is more ' natural' than other zoos with inclines and mountainous type terrain. Kids most enjoyed feeding the deers and alpacas. having seen the website I expected a bit more interaction with the animals and at least for kids to be able to touch the tamer ones. Tigers... More

We visited on our way out of town, so didn't have a lot of time. The zoo is small, but very well put together. Great for all children. Met Peter(?) who we were told raised the animals and you could see how much they loved him. All the animals looked healthy and well taken care of, including the many birds.... More

We went on Thursday. Got there about 11 am and there was no parking at all. We ended up parking on the street. It wasn't really a big deal. This street isn't super busy to the point that you need to be worried about the traffic and the kids. We had a coupon so for 2 adults and 1 kid... More
