Beautiful, high peaks and cloud formation. Luckily, we were here on a sunny, warm day trip. The springs weren't running as much due to the unusual warm summer weather.

One hour hike to top of cliff overlooking town and river. Awesome view. Moderately challenging. When done, go dangle your feet in the river to cool them off.

The first few miles of the North Fork are packed with great action, emerald water, and killer scenery. You'll want to run it more than once but you have to find an outfitter with access.
