Lovely view

This lighthouse is a quick and easy walk from the parking lot. The exterior is in rough shape so it's closed until next year. The view of the Pacific from here is quite impressive.

You can visit this lighthouse with a very short stroll on a wide path. It's windy here so come prepared. The location is everything you would imagine for the Washington coast. A Washington Discover Pass is required to visit this site or a day use fee.

This is easy to get to. It seemed to me the path to the right was shorter tho and less steep. The views from the trail are amazing with the light and the ocean visible with the path and trees all around! Worth it for any one!

The Lighthouse is closed until 2017, there are still some amazing views along this short walk. (FYI: There are a set of stairs by the houses, but you can just go the other way.) There is a small gift shop at the location. There are also two historical houses that can be rented at reasonable prices.

On the walk to the lighthouse from the park entrance we saw numerous orange-colored salamanders along the path. The trees and ferns along the path were huge as were the cliffs around the lighthouse itself. Can't imagine being a lighthouse keeper in the old days with the wind howling and the storms blowing in. It still provides a light for... More

The lighthouse was closed for renovations when we went, but the walk to the lighthouse is easy and the scenery along the way and from the lighthouse location is just superb

The hike up to this lighthouse it very short but so beautiful. They also have these cute houses that can be rented and how fun would that be to stay the night. *not a plug I really think it would be really fun* I still cant get over how beautiful the view is.

We visit a lot of lighthouses. The North Head Light is one of the more dramatic. It sits on the windswept southern Washington coast providing aid to ships dealing with the wicked currents around the mouth of the Columbia River. The beach below it seems to go on forever. It is an easy walk from the parking lot and should... More

This lighthouse offers more incredible views of the Pacific and mouth of the Columbia. During the season, tours are offered. The exterior of the lighthouse has sufffered some superficial damage due to the weather!

The wind can really blow when you get out to the Northhead Lighthouse. It is very exhilarating. The views to the north of the beach below is very beautiful. It is a short hike down to the lighthouse from the parking area and very wide to accomodate most anyone.
