A step back to the fifties and loads of fun. We visited here as a group and we were welcomed wholeheartedly. They had a fire going, they had wonderful lavender lemonade and fudge and cookies. Their gift shop is great with loads of wonderful items. Look for the dryer packets. The aroma is divine You will be given a great... More

Wonderfully generous and eccentric family willing to share all their knowledge of lavender while providing a free tour of their delightful grounds. We climbed up the tree house and viewed the grounds, wandered about, met their chickens and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Be sure to purchase the Lavender soap, it's hand made and amazing. I also purchased lavender sachets and a... More

"Lavender Farm," though accurate, is also misleading in the case of the Painted Lady Lavender Farm in Ilwaco, WA. I fell in love with this enchanting pocket in the forest. From Highway 101, all you see is a sign and "Open" flags, but once you make it down the driveway and through the iron gates you will soon realize that... More

This was a fun place and the owners are the most knowledgeable people I've ever met when it comes to Lavender. The plants I bought are doing great and enjoyed the seasonings.

Yesterday we went to the market in Astoria and then ventured straight north on 101 with our 3 year old grand daughter - not sure what adventure we would find, and the highlight was Painted Lady Lavender Farm! We passed it first, but after seeing the "Open" flags, we turned around and then spent several hours there! We climbed a... More

My friend and I came across the farm while driving down Coastal 101 from Seattle to Portland. As soon as we passed the sign, we knew we had to turn around and go back. The owner guides the tour himself and is very knowledgable about the landscape and climate and his farm. The farmer grows over 15 varieties lavender and... More

I appreciated the time and detail of information given to us on the tour. There was a lot more THERE than I expected. Lavender farm meant just lavender to me. So getting to enjoy the many other additional items/buildings/plants was definitely a positive plus.
