Our group of 12 did the kayak tour of Lake Kokanee. It was an incredible day and the tour was beautiful. Valerie and David were really great to work with and our guide, Jason was awesome! He was very patient and even took pictures of our group. I would highly recommend this company.

My boyfriend and I recently went on a sunset kayaking tour through Hood Canal Adventures, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Washington. We kayaked on Lake Cushman at Skokomish Park. Paula, our guide, was terrific. She was outgoing, full of info about the lake and surrounding wildlife, and did not rush us in the least. We spent about 3 hours kayaking, starting a little while prior to sunset. Once the sun actually set and the sky grew dark, we donned headlamps so we could see where we were going. You really get a different perspective of the lake at night--and even though the sky was a bit overcast, the evening was still spectacular. What a great way to wrap up the day! We highly recommend it!

Kayak tour on Lake Kokanee. A quiet smooth lake surrounded by trees and canyon walls. A paddle to a small island and back made a perfect trip. Water is so clear with fish jumping and two eagles flying overhead. Perfect for families and people that have never kayaked before. Instructions given and guide makes sure everyone is doing ok. Six in our group had never been in a kayak before and all swore to do it again. They also do Kayak tours, peddle boats and stand up paddle boards at the Lake Cushman location which is only 3 miles down the road from Lake Kokanee. Highly recommend this adventure to all.

A scenic place in the western side Washington State. There are several trekking trails and after monsoon the waterfalls will add to the beauty. Lot of opportunity for water sports as well. However, it is wise to rent a house on the bank of Hood Canal and enjoy your stay. These houses are complete with all facilities. Please be careful about jellyfish in case you go for a swim. We have spotted many seals and few jellyfish.

My wife and I love to camp and get out on the water. Recently I wanted to do something special for her so I booked a tour with hood canal adventures, wanting to go somewhere new and amazing that we would not have been able to find on our own. Dave and Valerie were great not only did they deliver, but they made us feel so special . They took the time to find the right place and then went above and beyond to help me plan a special picnic for my wife. They recommended their Lake Kokanee tour ,I couldn't even find this place on the map. We started off paddling in a lake setting it was so peaceful and calm and went into this canyon area and got some amazing pictures in front of a waterfall. Dave was also our guide and he was great pointing things out as we went along and we really enjoyed his company. We came to a small island and had a great picnic ( I scored some major points with the wife - Thanks again Hood Canal Adventures! ) We had so much fun we went on our own day trip the next day at their Lake Cushman location and even tried paddle boarding . All in all we could not have asked for a better experience, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous and thank you again to Valerie and Dave they really made our trip , we will be telling all of our friends, family .. mail man and will definitely be back to again !
