Great hike for all ages. Easy to get to. Trail is in good condition. Busy parking lot, so get there early. The lake is stunning

For a great mid level hike for family or anyone is this popular hike. We have a cabin near by and hike it often. It is a remote feeling without having to hike many miles. About a 2 hour hike in and 2 hours out....More

The hike is moderate to difficult .. It will take around 1.5 hours to 2 hours to reach by the lake. When we went it was a cloudy day so could not see the lake clearly , but the trail is really beautiful. You can...More

Great hike, did the whole trip including round the lake. Still a few patches of snow to traverse around the lake. Parts of trail were a bit tricky as many rocky sections and wet. Streams to cross and stair sections. But gorgeous views in places...More

Not a difficult hike but recommend good boots due to trip hazards. Lake view is amazing and hear fishing is good. Nice camping spots. Will need permit but can get at area stores and ranger station. Easy enough for older kids.

Moderate hike through dense forest and in some places unforgiving terrain. Excellent footwear, proper clothing (gets cooler as you climb and can be very wet), and the right supplies will make this a very enjoyable trek. Allow 3-4 hrs.

This was such a beautiful hike. Everything about it was gorgeous. You go through the dense forest all the while hearing the water rushing from various waterfalls, then to a rocky hillside, and finally the stunning lake. This is a moderate hike due to the...More

The hike up and back took us about 3+ hours. We are in our late 50's early 60's. My wife is in much better shape than I. We packed water bottles, some nuts and an apple for a snack to have once we got to...More
