This is an easy hike. The falls were beautiful. There were many wildflowers on the trail along with ripening blackberries. Took an hour or two. A $10 Daypass is required to visit.

Decide to hike to Lower Falls. Signs about 100 feet apart listed it as 1.4 and 1.7 miles. We walked until we got to the 2 mile mark and saw nothing. Maybe we missed a turn off or something. Check with a ranger before you...More

We hiked up to the lower falls and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were quite a few people on the trail, but everyone was polite. The trails are clean and it's easy to stay on course. The falls are gorgeous.

Stayed in the cabins for several days while climbing at Index and hiking the surrounding areas. The cabins were spacious, clean, close to the bathrooms(which were well kept) and had the wonderful surprise of having hot showers, which I definitely needed after climbing all day....More

There seems to be space large enough for an RV. (but i'm not sure about staying overnight) On the weekend in good weather get there early in order to get a parking space. Good luck!
