The curator & board have done a nice job at reflecting some of the local history in an extremely pleasant setting. This is a great rainy day activity in Gig Harbor. Add it onto you harbor walk!

This is a wonderful place for kids and adults alike. Lots of fascinating local history with interactive displays of varying types. The volunteer staff are welcoming and helpful. Not to be missed.

Great overview of Gig Harbor. Modern facility with vodophones to give a better overview. Outside volunteers are restoring a old woden fishing boat called Shenandoah This a labor of love as its in pretty rough shap Will great to see it fuly restored

Thanks for taking the time to visit! The Shenandoah is definitively a labor of love, but we have some awesome volunteers led by our Shipwright Nate who really devote their time and energy to the ship.
