I have often retreated to Double Bluff, sometimes alone, usually with friends and/or family. It's always a wonderful place, whether you hang out near the parking lot or walk all the way to the point.

Visiting family from Va. and came here while on a day trip to Whidbey Island. It’s great for the dogs that can run off the leash, but owners should spend more time cleaning up their poop. The beach areas were great areas to explore, but...More

If you visit one beach on Whidbey Island, Double Bluff is it. On a clear day you’ll see downtown Seattle with Mt Rainer in the distance. Look up into the trees above the bluffs and you’ll catch views of bald eagles. When the tide is...More

This is one of the few year around sandy beaches. Most of the South Whidbey beaches are stoney in the summer. Skim boarding is popular here. Busy park in the summer. Parking is at a premium. Be sure if you park alongside the road that...More

Small parking lot, wonderful beach with good picnic services. You wouldn't know it was there if you didn't have a map or navigation.

Beautiful spot on a lovely day with a hike above and then down to the beach. Wildflowers were blooming.

This is a great park for off -leash dogs to come. Nice, long and clean beach. Note your dogs will be a smelly mess afterward, but happily tuckered out.
