Easy to see

Even tough not a major attraction this is a relaxing place which you see while driving on Hwy 101. If you walk just a little you can discover a very quiet area near this river.

Winter time may not be the best time to tour this campground, but it seems to cater to RV's or campers. There are very few sites with adequate tent locations. It is quite dark and the river is there, but not visible.

The Bogachiel is one of a number of picturesque rivers in the Forks area that originates in the Olympics and flows west, south of Forks, until it passes under Hwy 101 after which it turns northerly and is joined by the Calawah River just west of Forks and then heads southwest again to merge with the Sol Duc River after... The Bogachiel is a wonderful place to fish but I prefer to just sit in a beach chair with a good book and enjoy the beauty. Watch the bald eagles soaring over the river in search of a meal or just relax and day dream. This is the perfect place to forget about the city
