The Schack has changing art exhibits, a gift store of handcrafted items and a hot shop where you can watch glass blowing. Art classes are offered. There is always something new to see and tempting art to buy.

We didn't want to sit in traffic going back to Seattle from Vancouver so we looked up what to do and found this gem! Excellent exhibit by Chris and Jan Hopkins showing! Very friendly, helpful staff. Perfect gift shop featuring local/regional artists. Loved this stop!

Fun to watch the glassblowing. A Skagit Valley friend had her art there. What a lovely display of her paintings. Loved the shop and really enjoyed looking at the other artwork. Wish we had something like the Shack in Mount Vernon/Burlington.

I signed up for their newsletter and was able to watch for art classes for my teenage son that fit our schedule. Great variety and top notch teaching artists. Glass blowing shop has viewing area and one-day craft-making workshops are of seasonal interest.
