If you have not experience the wonders of northeast State Park and you are really missing out. The lake is peaceful and there are many trees, as well as a very nice circular path around it. Some of my most magical times here have been when the Canada geese are here really early in the mornings in the Spring

Great place for a swim. The water is a little cold until mid summer. If you have an air mattress it is a great place to float. Dogs must be on leash. Nice flat walk 1 and 1/4 miles around the lake.

Note State Park is safe and fun. Grills for BBQ provided and the swimming beach is safe for all ages. The trees and grass area make room for all. Covered picnic areas and a nice tot lot make is nice for families.

Great park outside of Enumclaw and Cumberland areas. Super 1.4 mile walking trail, nice beach by the lake, good playground for kids, covered area for groups, and newly remodeled bathroom facilities. Perfect in the mornings. Can get pretty busy in the afternoons and on weekends when the weather is warm. Fun place for kids and dogs are welcome as well.

One of my favorite things to do to unwind in Enumclaw. A lap or two with my dog does wonders throughout each season. Always meeting others doing the same. A bit of natures beauty so close to home.

Nice hike around lake, especially with dogs. Too bad the state charges so much for a stay that everyone parks on the road creating a hazard for all. Yes you can buy a state pass, but your property taxes are already or at least were paying for the parks. Try putting in a small boat and fishing for trout.

We have been going to this park for years. You can park outside the park if you don't have a Discovery pass. Take the time to circle the lake on the trail. The water can be a bit cold for swimming.

They have a nice trail, a nice lake to go swimming in just make sure you shower afterwards. You can go fishing. You can take your boats out. No motors. And they have a new playground area for the little ones. I used to swim here a lot as a kid. It does have a drop off so be careful.... More

Peaceful and quaint little place to hike. Would not swim here- the water is not very clean and can be deadly.

Nolte State Park is AWSOME!!! This state park is great for all ages, it has flat ground and is great for dog walking. there are many trails to the shore line. The tide is shallow and the only down side is mosquitos, THEY ARE EVRYWERE!!!
