close to town and freeway, family friendly, great dog walk, easy walk of varying length, just the river loop or all the way to the picnic area and ponds. Good birds watching.

The water is great, and beach part is nic. We love the grass and the volleyball area. They need more shade and picnic tables.

Beautiful river park with plenty of parking, tables and some wind protection. We enjoyed reading books while we watched children play in the water. Volleyball nets are set up for some fun.

The park is a really nice walk, its goes right along the river. It's a great place to go birding or walk the dog. It also attaches to People's Pond which is a nice place to have a picnic or other outdoor activities.
