I sort of discovered this trail by accident. I started off on my run from the Hilton hotel just off the highway and started running through Dupont and saw the trail marker by the museum. I kept running and came across this trail head. What...More

Nice wide trailer, good for mountain bikes too. There is a large steep drop off point on one side of the trail that is filled with overgrown green plants, tall trees and a creek below. The scenery is breathtaking, it is definitely a trail you...More

Really enjoyed this 1.5 mile walk through the forest down to the beach (3.0 round trip with markers placed every .25 miles to help gauge progress.) It's very peaceful under the trees and if you're quiet, you can hear the bubbling creek in the canyon...More

An easy, quiet walk down to the sound. Interesting to know there was once a native village nestled in the smallish flat spot at the bottom. And the trail was used to carry goods from ships up to the original Fort Nisqually site, across the...More

Typical PNW soggy walk through the woods. No place to park and walk it, very narrow, not much to see once you get to the water line.
