Stayed a few days at an NPS campground, Ft. Spokane. The pine trees were beautiful, campground very well maintained, restrooms clean. Plenty of room between campsites. There's an historical fort nearby with nice exhibits, occasional live reenactments.

Nice short drive with rolling hills amber grain fields and Historic attractions. Ample opportunities for picture taking and the sweetest little church nestled down in a valley right off the road. Worth the time.

If you drive the whole loop, from Spokane to Davenport, there are several places to pull over for pics, lunch, to stretch. Picnic lunch at Fort Spokane, and dinner in Reardon, make it an all day adventure!
