This park is wonderful. It is a ways down from town so nestled in the mountains makes for a nice outdoors experience. Great beach area with loading docks for boats and other water crafts. They have paddle board and kayak rentals available. Need to reserve...More

This is an old campground. The main camping area is hilly, rustic and uneven so only suitable for tents and small truck campers. Anything that requires levelling will be mostly relegated to a newer more manufactured area off to one side with no lake views....More

This is our 5th yearly stay at this park and love it every time we stay. This year we camped over free discovery pass day and it was a bit more crowded. We did find it to be very quiet in the morning and in...More

The beach is beautiful and is very walkable. The campground has electric and water hookups and is quite nice. However, the sites are quite close to each other. Tent sites are very well spaced.

We took a gamble camping in April, but it paid off! We had site 86, overlooking Lake Chelan and it was beautiful. It has little/no shade which was great for this time of year but may be a problem in the summer. The park itself...More

We stay at a lot of State Parks, having been a Manager of one and resided on a Park before, but this one was very disappointing! There was debris everywhere, and a lot of bushes and branches needed to be trimmed. Very sloppy management!

We're not avid campers but started going to State Park 3 years ago. It is now our family tradition! We've always had great luck with our sites. The first year we reserved beach front and it wasn't large enough for our tents and ground was...More

Despite making a reservation in advance my site was occupied upon my arrival because the park makes no effort to indicate which sites are reserved. During my stay I could not find any staff at all and my overall impression is that the state just...More

We wanted to swim at beach. At 11:30am, rangers prohibited all cars from entering park because parking lot was full. Lame.

Yes, but crowded and always a leash! (and of course cleaning up after) They aren't allowed on the swimming beach but can swim and be on the sand next to the partitioned off area.
