We took the express boat and had a good time. The boat is nice and the crew was good. The view is great. They do have food and drinks available, but we had our own so we didn’t try anything. There are 2 marine heads....More
We had a wonderful day riding from Chelan to Stehekin. There was seating inside & out plus informative narration as we travelled the lake. We took the Red Bus to Rainbow Falls & ate at the restaurant at the landing. There is also a National...More
It is hard to review the Lady of the Lake without also reviewing the very small town of Stehekin as that is pretty much your only destination. We took the Lady Express (2 1/2 hours) up to Stehekin which is a town of about 97...More
Definitely a MUST if you want to see Lake Chelan. I recommend that you take the faster boat in the morning to get to Steheckin. This will give you 3 hours to explore this small little community. Then take the slower boat back in the...More
Beautiful trip to the other end of Lake Chelen (and the world). The coffee was bad and alcohol (even your own) isn't allowed on board, but the scenery was simply out of this world. Taking the fast boat up and the slow one back gave...More
Took the Lady Express from Chelan and back with my two grown sons for a few days of backpacking. Both departures were on time (to the minute) and arrivals were early (maybe helped by good weather). Crew was very helpful and ride was very smooth...More
We took the Lady of the Lake Express boat to Stehekin from Chelan. The ride over was good, as was the ride back. I would have given them a zero rating if possible though because their customer service is severely lacking. On the return trip,...More

Lake Chelan appeared to be a nice small and safe enough town, but like every town, I am sure there are some punk thieves lurking. We stayed in a very nice resort called “The Resort at Lake Chelan.” I would have felt safe having property in and on my vehicle there, Not being a resident there and only being there a week, I unfortunately can not assure you of any other places that your vehicle and property would be safe at. The parking at the cruise is free and I felt that no one would mess with the vehicles parked their during the day tour, but I would not leave it there over night (businesss closed, dark and not monitored). You might try calling the local Police Department up there and ask them if they know of a safe parking area. Good luck and sorry I couldn’t answer your question better!
