I spent the best part of the day enjoying seeing my two grandkids enjoy themselves. Then we had lunch at their facility and played some more. I'm glad they had locker rentals available where we could stash non-waterproof items, dry towels, etcetera. :)

Slide Waters is a great place to cool off, get wet, and have FUN. The variety of slides is amazing. Some are geared for young children and others for those wanting more excitement. The slides are smooth riding. There are slides that are ridden with...More

Clay- Glad we could offer you a little variety from the lake. The lake will always be king here in Chelan, but sometimes a break is needed. Great to hear that you enjoyed the park for a full 9 hours! I'm guessing everyone slept well....More

Grandchildren enjoyed the water slides a lot. I liked floating the river slide. They provided lockers for your personal things. They had snak bar available.

We, Grandpa and Grandma, went with our Daughter’s family. We had a wonderful time. The one year old and almost 4 year old loved playing in the water at the various spots for those ages.

It is not the temp of the lake but its not like a heated pool. It is refreshing-your in and out most of the time, not usually in for a while

Trip to Chelan and North Cascades National Park (3 Replies)
I'm putting together a very last minute trip to this area for my family of 5; 2 adults and kids aged 10, 13, 16. We enjoy camping, and would like some water activities. Please tell me if this itinerary seems reasonable: Day 1- Drive Portland, OR to North Cascades, set up camp (hopefully Newhalem or Colonial Springs) Day 2- Day hiking, exploring North Cascades Day 3- morning again in North Cascades, then drive to Chelan. Anywhere we should stop on the way? Maybe lunch in Winthrop?...More
