A great test of your golf game

We just played here twice with 4 groups. Course was in good shape and greens were running fast. I... read more

We have been to Desert Canyon for golf several times. It's a challenging course with many holes looking down onto the Columbia river. The staff always made us feel welcome and eager to make our visit memorable. You won't want to walk this course. The...More

We had a large private party enjoying the mini-golf course. This is a beautiful spot and should have been a lot of fun for everyone. We drove up to the "Wheelchair accessible" parking spots to find a landscape vehicle parked in the white-lined area. This...More

We just played here twice with 4 groups. Course was in good shape and greens were running fast. I really enjoyed the big 600 yard par 5 heading down the hill towards the river. I hit driver, 3 hybrid and driver again to get it...More

I've played here approximately 6-8 times and have never been disappointed. The course is fantastic with incredible views! It's really nice also, to finish your round and already be at your hotel. It's not the Four Seasons but it's perfect for Orondo.

Desert Canyon golf course (in Orondo, not Chelan) is definitely in the discussion for best golf course in Central Washington. Multiple tee boxes offer varied length, angle, and elevation. The layout is spectacular with rolling, well manicured fairways and greens. This course can challenge you...More

I have not been back to Desert Canyon since 2004 but it looks beautiful and the course was just as I remembered it. Stunning views from all the holes and they are going to upgrade the hotel property again. More houses have been built including...More

Stayed there in Sept.and although the golf course was fine, the accommodations need some upkeep. Hot tub/spa not working with a foot of old stinky water. Also the pool out of order and dirty. Fire alarm beeped until we just unhooked it since new batteries didn't...More

The course is in great condition and fairly priced for the quality of the experience. The views are incredible and the course is fair but challenging -- move up a tee if winds are high. This course is easily in the top 5 in the...More

The manicured fairways and well-maintained greens cut a beautiful swath through this challenging, desert course. But that's the nicest thing I can say about it. There are too many blind shots (at least from the blue tees) without much guidance as to where to aim...More
