If you are a history buff, this will really be enjoyable. The inside tour is just as enjoyable as the outdoor. It's really amazing to see all the artifacts from the region, and in the relativeness of time, from not that long ago. It's amazing to see how far we(as settlers) have come as a civilization, and what we've bestowed... More

Before heading to our hotel we went to this Museum. Like most museums it has a small fee to go in, and like most museums you have a building full of old and interesting things...but unlike most museums this one has and outdoor pioneer village that is set up that you can walk around, through and in! Great experience and... More

There are plenty of artefacts here. There is a museum containing a good collection of Indian artefacts here and a pioneer village consisting of transported historic buidlings.

This museum should be high on your to do list if you're in the area. Excellent displays of native American , early settlers and natural history. Only $7.,$6 senior. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We toured this museum about 10 years ago and wanted to take the time to take it in without our children with us...we loved it even more this time partially because of the audio tour that they've recently added. It costs $2 more for the audio tour but it is well worth it! If you like museums and enjoy learning... More

This museum is staffed with people well versed in the local history and conversant with the variety of items within the museum and the pioneer village. It is well laid out for a small town museum. Stairs preclude it from being AAD accessible, but there may be an elevator and I just didn't notice. Access to the lower floor could... More

We figured the kids would either love it or hate it. They loved it! Very impressive museum highlighting the Native American history of the area and the Pioneers that settled the area. The museum staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The kids had a scavenger hunt to do which added to the fun of discovering more of the attractions. All... More

This is a really great small museum, won't take much time to visit and see. Very nice sense of history, lots of fun walking through the little village. The cabins and old buildings are real and were brought in from all over the state. Nice collection of Native American and Pioneer artifacts in the museum.
