Very smooth wide path. Little elevation and mostly shaded. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it is very popular during the weekends and only a little less during the week. Also very popular with cyclists. You have to be on the...More

The trail parallels the marsh and after a about a mile you are lakeside. The sound of the lakes against the shore was calming. There were lots of waterlilies in the lake. We also saw several ospreys. The trail is about 3.5 Miles, one way...More

This is my preferred place to run when it is hot outside. The trees provide plenty of shade and there is a bit of a breeze being by the water (or maybe it is from all of the boats going by on the lake!). The...More

Primarily flat 3 1/2 mile (each way) through the woods and adjacent to Lacamas Lake. Restrooms at either end are a nice and convenient touch and the surface is a pleasure to walk or jog on...not too hard or soft. Good variety of birds and...More

As mentioned, this walk can take quite awhile. Gravel, paved, and some elevation changes as you near the lake. Take it slow & enjoy the woods/potholes/scenery as you encircle the lake. There are side trails that can take you to falls. At 500/Everett Highway &...More

Ride this trail a lot. If you are a cycler watch out for distracted walkers/dogs/children and make sure they hear you before trying to pass. Hard to do sometimes when they have headphones on.

This is a busy local trail that lacks bathrooms and trail maps once you're on it. It does provide beauty and if you hike long enough you will leave all the congestion behind but wonder how long it goes and to where. I suggest hiking...More

This trail is underrated! I'm glad that my husband, who was born and raised in this town, introduced it to me when we first met, 12 years ago. Only 1/2 hour drive from Portland, OR. Worth checking out!

Great 3 1/4 mile trail one way. Nice lake with geese and fish. Beautiful homes along some of the trail plus golf course. Mostly wooded area with several bridges to cross. Excellent exercise with benches along the way where you can stop and rest and...More

Walked 2+ miles each way and loved the view, the sound of crunching leaves beneath or feet and well maintained trails with lots of folks walking dogs & visiting.
