A short promenade giving a nice view of the marina and sound. There are historical markers and sculptures located along the walk. At the north end is the USS Turner Joy and at the South end is the Ferry

It’s often ovrloooked. This area is mostly used for ferry travel, parking and restaurants so its passed by. But if you take a few minutes and walk around you will enjoy the tranquility of the boardwalk. Probably most famous for being the location of the annual Bremerton Blackberry Festival (in 2018 ((the 29th)) it will be over the Labor Day weekend) the boardwalk is a hidden gem. I suggest stopping at Starbucks first then take a relaxing visit of the boardwalk followed by going to the water park nearby.

Don't miss a walk around the boats and marina, is so nice over there, mostly a must to visit to take pictures, you can see the Journey and old ships, take pictures or ride the Bremerton Ferry to Seattle and back.

We went twice over the weekend, and we literally saw NOTHING on the boardwalk. Perhaps it was spring, and that's why there was nothing going on? We thought maybe we had the wrong place, and then went back again, and again found nothing. We were told that it is very season specific, and that it can actually be very busy or not at all happening. We found it was too unpredictable to plan for it. Good luck to you figuring it out! A boardwalk that is unpredictable isn't really an attraction.

I lived in Bremerton for three years. I loved living there but it's not the safest place in the world to be. I came down to the Bremerton Boardwalk frequently, to catch the ferry to Seattle, not to hang out. I used to grab some fries at Fritz European Fry House before I got on the ferry - they are brilliant.
The USS Turner Joy is moored there and that is a great place to visit as well. It's not a war zone down there, but I would recommend to just keep your wits about you and you will be fine.

A great little boardwalk in Bremerton. Great views of the water and lovely little areas to stroll and relax. Very well done indeed.

We visited this area in nice sunny weather in June and enjoyed the great views of the water and strolling the area checking out the shops and there was a street fair of some type going on with lots of booths selling Knick knacks. We had our teenage grandsons with us and had a great time!

We happened upon the blackberry festival at the boardwalk over Labor Day weekend. Interesting blackberry desserts along with other food and various vendors.

Great views, lots of room and I really loved that there were tables and chairs sporadically around. Grassy areas were kept up and it was clean all around.
