I've visited the museum a few times before and made a trip last weekend to catch the nutcracker exhibit before it goes back into storage, probably sometime this month. It was well worth the trip. The permanent displays are always fun to see again, too. There's not another museum like this that I'm aware of, at least in this part... More

They invited me to a show. They love to tell you all about all of the puppets. Give tours almost on demand. Quite a wonderful collection. Proud of what they have to offer. They have puppets for children to play with and have shows for children.

Great play area with room for kids to put on their own shows and/or make puppet-related crafts. Fun scavenger hunt for kids as well and an interesting collection.

Even if you aren't extremely interested in the puppets (which are super neat), if you have small children there is an excellent hands on play area for the kids to explore. There are lots of hand puppets, felt boards, books, and a puppet theatre to put on their own show. It provides great entertainment on a rainy Northwest day, and... More

The Puppet Museum has a beautiful collection! This is a very interesting and unique museum. Enjoyed the art of the puppets and brings back memories when I was 5 years old I would put on a sock puppet show behind the couch.

I once went to see "Dorothy's House" in Liberal, Kansas, and this reminded me of it. Nothing fancy, the work of a person with a passion. It's in the Bremerton Arts District, which is really just a single block long and mostly empty. The gentleman at the helm was very kind, and you could tell he was really into the... More

Brought my kids to this museum. It was a great experience. The place has a small but nice play area. Kids are entertaining themselves by playing with the puppets. The museum exhibit area also has a good collection of much bigger and advanced puppets.

It's a small museum with a variety of puppets and a puppet play area for kids. Little kids love it. They have a giant Pinocchio. It's free.

My daughter and I loved visiting this small museum. The puppets are wonderful, and the docent the day we visited clearly loved the museum and told us the stories behind 2 of the displays. We took advantage of the play room and practiced puppeteering ourselves. A fun little place in downtown Bremerton!
