Beautiful theater with impressive lineup

What a gorgeous space. We didn't know about this theatre or its impressive line-up of talent coming through. We'll be back!

Enjoying events at the theater is always a wonderful thing to look forward to. You don't just attend a concert, production or other offerings. You are treated to a special time of experiencing culture and performance in your visit. We in Bellingham are so lucky to have this wonderfully restored theater. It transports one to another era when theaters such... More

Not only beautiful restoration of an old theatre but viewing from most seats is very good to excellent. The sound, especially for music productions is outstanding. you just can't do better unless you travel to London or Vancouver BC and even there this theatre would be on par. 10 stars

A beautiful old theater with pretty good acoustics...they often get big-name performers on their way between Seattle and Vancouver.

What a great piece of Bellingham history! Our docent was very informative. This theater opened in 1927. The ceilings in the main hallway are magnificent! They are not wood but plaster expertly painted using feathers. The theme as you enter is of a Captain's quarters aboard a Spanish vessel. The chandeliers and lighting in the main theater are beautifully done!... More

I have seen some rock artists , and some ballets ( nutcracker ) but never a movie - it is a gorgeous restored movie palace - the wood work and decor is amazing from a lost era

This beautifully restored theatre built in 1927 in an Art Deco/Moorish/Iberian vein, was designed by Robert Reamer who also designed the 5th Ave Theater in Seattle. A 1500 plus seat old movie house theater venue, restored, upgraded, and made ready for the 21st century in grand fashion. A bigger stage was added around 2006 to accommodate bigger productions, along with... More

A local ballet company was performing, but the advertisement for the ballet didn't mention that it was amateur. I went with completely wrong expectations. We basically watched a group of people do the same 20 or so ballet moves for 1.5 hours. The show was too long for anyone except family members to enjoy. I would have enjoyed it much... More

We went to see Patti Lupone who is touring her one-woman show. I was happy to see the show, but am always happy to have an excuse to be in this wonderful, historic theatre. The online ticket process was simple and the tickets were mailed to us promptly. The seats are comfortable; acoustics are good. Bellingham is a small city,... More
