Have been to Mt Baker Theatre many times but never have taken time to review it before. It's a beautiful old theatre, with lovely carvings. Don't forget to look at the ceiling! Seats are fairly comfortable and I've never not had a good view. Small concessions in lobby. Restrooms are clean and large enough. Always kind and helpful people working.

Always a delightful pleasure to attend the theatre in such a grand and gracious setting. Coming from Abbotsford, Canada it is a quick one hour drive south. I have attended many concerts here and just recently The Nutcracker Ballet. Sign up for the email newsletter and you will be surprised at how reasonable the prices are.

As a season ticket holder we get top performers and after the shows we are home within a half an hour. No need to travel for 2 hours to Seattle and hunt for parking. Last year we had Steve Martin plus wonderful shows. This year we have Joan Baez ,Capitol Steps, Mama Mia etc. This great Theatre was built in 1927 and the community has saved it for this generation to enjoy.

MBT is a historic theater in downtown Bellingham. I used to go there as a child to see Westerns and sci-fi movies on weekends. It's a beautiful theater with red velvet drapery, elegant carved chairs (much like thrones). beautiful chandelier light fixtures. The seating is comfortable. It is a pleasure just to be inside this theater.

I love the Mount Baker theatre, but I will never pay money to see Diana Krall again. It was the worst concert I have ever seen by a musical artist. Her band was very good, however they performed every song with an individual solo with Diana Krall only singing one or two lines from each song with less enthusiasm than I thought possible. She couldn’t complete sentences and couldn’t complete thoughts or songs. Yes, she has talent but her show was horrible. They should take her name off the concert schedule and call it a jazz jam session as that is what is was. She admitted she had no song list, no planned program. It was the most unprofessional almost performance ever.

Recently saw two shows at the Mount Baker Theatre. First show was 'Choir of Man' and the next weekend we saw 'Los Vivancos'. The theater is a beautiful grande dame which still maintains a homey atmosphere. The two shows were absolutely tremendous with high energy and left the audience with smiles and laughter. The venue and the selection of entertainment combines to make this one of my very favorite places in Bellingham.

We drove up from Port Orchard for the Nick Swardson concert on May 5th. First time at this theater. It was classic and not a bad seat in the house. Free parking nearby too.

Great acting by 2 talented artists. Involved the audience along the way. We wanted to see something with a Christmas spirit. Tired of seeing the Nutcracker. It served the purpose. The theater was full and it was a windy cold night with spotty snow flakes.

We visited this theatre to see a performance from the Met, and it was a great experience. It's a charming little theatre with comfortable seats. I would definitely go back again for another event.

What a gorgeous space. We didn't know about this theatre or its impressive line-up of talent coming through. We'll be back!
