I visit Bellingham once a year and always stop at Village Books to browse the unique items and buy fudge in the candy shop. They had a lavender fudge that was amazing. If you like indie bookstores like Powells in Portland or Aunties in Spokane, this is a must see place in Bellingham.

Independent Bookstores are getting harder to find especially ones with a selection as wide as this one has. Don't fail to stop at this Fair Haven favorite. The shelves are well marked and organized and if you're still not finding what you want the staff is quick to help. Both new and used books are available on three floors. It's... More

This is such a great bookstore with a cafe and an adorable paper/treasures store attached. While they carry first run books, they also carry lots of local merchandise and goods. Well worth a stop in when you are in Fairhaven!

New books, used books, games, gifts of all kinds. A restaurant and a coffee bar. You can spend hours here. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. A highlight in Fairhaven.

So much to look at in this book store. It is way more than a bookstore and it has great prices on books. If you ever wondered where that octopus mug came from on Criminal Minds...you can find it here...Penelope Garcia's mug. Lots of interesting stuff, bath stuff, chocolate, books, crafts, jewelry. Spend some time...have a great time.

Chuck and Dee have excellent connections with authors and publishers throughout the country and are able to lure quality authors to come to Bellingham to present their books to us. We are very lucky to have the Robinsons and Village Books in Bellingham.

While stopping in Fairhaven, two friends and I went into Village Books. I don't recall how long we browsed but enjoyed the time immensely. I was looking for a book that I had read a review about. I didn't recall the name of the book, the name of the author and only had a vague idea on the scene and... More

Very nice location and a great selection. Two floors of books, journals, and paper goods with a large local book and map section for those traveling. My only complaint is that the cash register is way off in the corner and very hard to find. But the store is lovely!
