This was my first visit to Village Books, and I'm glad to have found it! This is a great bookstore where the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There are lots of books to peruse through, and there is an easy system of coloured dots to discern whether a book is new, used or a bargain item. There are lots of... More

What a great bookstore. Used books, new books, kids area. Seating throughout - pets allowed. What more could you ask for.

Three floors of excellent books with areas for children's titles and toys. There is a large non-fiction selection and attractive displays through out the store. Really broad range of titles to choose from and a lovely spot to enjoy a good read. You can't go wrong at this store.

This bookstore offers a wide range of books, from best sellers to local interest. I appreciate their attention to detail, with staff reviews and recommendations attached as notes on the shelves, and the staff are very helpful in find the right books for what you are looking for. They provide spots to browse books, enjoy a coffee, and sell gift... More

I visit Bellingham once a year and always stop at Village Books to browse the unique items and buy fudge in the candy shop. They had a lavender fudge that was amazing. If you like indie bookstores like Powells in Portland or Aunties in Spokane, this is a must see place in Bellingham.

Independent Bookstores are getting harder to find especially ones with a selection as wide as this one has. Don't fail to stop at this Fair Haven favorite. The shelves are well marked and organized and if you're still not finding what you want the staff is quick to help. Both new and used books are available on three floors. It's... More

This is such a great bookstore with a cafe and an adorable paper/treasures store attached. While they carry first run books, they also carry lots of local merchandise and goods. Well worth a stop in when you are in Fairhaven!

So much to look at in this book store. It is way more than a bookstore and it has great prices on books. If you ever wondered where that octopus mug came from on Criminal Minds...you can find it here...Penelope Garcia's mug. Lots of interesting stuff, bath stuff, chocolate, books, crafts, jewelry. Spend some time...have a great time.

Chuck and Dee have excellent connections with authors and publishers throughout the country and are able to lure quality authors to come to Bellingham to present their books to us. We are very lucky to have the Robinsons and Village Books in Bellingham.
