Unexpected Gem Along the Bay.

We went for a walk and this park was an unexpected surprise. Very nice, clean and not very busy. We will be back.

Walk to Bloedel Donovan Park from Whatcom Falls in February rain. Still wandered through this park and thought we should revisit when warm to play.

Bloedel Donovan Park provides in many ways…Of course you have your typical park with beach and swimming at Lake Whatcom but there is much more. The boat launch is an important resource for boaters! Trailer parking and boat inspection station that is required for all water craft including canoes and kayaks! Very efficient process. On a nice weekend it can... More

If you don't live with a view of the water this is a wonderful place to come for a walk or a picnic. Picnic tables with benches, restrooms, playground, small Rocky beach, boat launch.

Took our grand daughter swimming with her boyfriend. Park was very and and well maintained. We sat at a picnic bench and were able to see the water. There were alot of kids playing volleyball, frisbee, sunning and swimming.

The park has undergone a "lake friendly" makeover, adding more sand, removing a concrete bulkhead, and adding to the lakeside park ambiance of the place. It's very busy, and the local goose population has left its calling card, so watch your step. If you want to launch a boat of any kind, be prepared to pay a fee for an... More

This is a nice park to take your family, friends, and fur baby. There is a swim area, play area, dog area, and Barbecue spots, boat launch on to beautiful Whatcom Lake where you can, boat, fish, jet ski ( if you have a four cycle motor). Two strokes are not allowed. You can water ski also. In door plumbing,... More

This "beach" was fun when I was a kid, but it has gotten so gross. There are so many birds there and so many people in the summer, it's just not fun. The water is gross too. Honestly, I can't believe people swim in there.

Friendly Family park along side the Lake Whatcom with water access and private bungalows to rent for a special occasion. Ample parking space. Great place to take the whole family .
