The Historic Fairhaven District is a quaint, charming community full of boutiques, shops, spas and restaurants. It's located in Bellingham, WA on the south side of town, north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, BC. It's surrounded by miles of hiking and biking trails with beautiful views of the bay. It has a little of everything for the entire family. It's great for a day trip or a long relaxing weekend!

We spent an afternoon shopping and enjoying Fairhaven. So many nice boutiques, galleries and interesting shops. We especially loved Mombo's for lunch. Local favorite with great service and the food was absolutely wonderful. Perfect pizza, pasta and salads!

A good place to stop for lunch on your way to Vancouver, BC or Seattle. Historic. Quaint. Nice views. A variety of restaurants and shops, but not much to really hold your interest for longer than stretching your legs and grabbing a bite to eat.

Gorgeous area with fun shopping. Would have done much more but there was a big storm on the way. The wind and rain made exploring difficult.

We came up Chuckanut Drive. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in Fairhaven and it looks nice and historic. There are also parks nearby on the bay.

If you haven't found Fairhaven yet you owe it to yourself to go and enjoy this area. Small mom and pop restaurants of all kinds... and lots of small bars .
