Fabulous eateries, summer movies on the wall, farmers markets and all kinds of activities available. The shopping is very unique. The stores are worth spending some time exploring. Local artists contribute much of the merchandise. From steak to ice cream cones and many things in between, go explore!

Many interesting shops, galleries, bookstores and places to eat or sip. bring your walking shoes - small hills to climb but worth it.

Lots of great restaurants, shopping, event space and history. The community comes out on the weekends to linger and the whole feeling is happy, friendly and inviting.

Darling little town in southern part of Bellingham. Used to be the red light district! Great little boutiques and jewelry stores and TONS of great places to eat as well. Then you have the Marine Park just down Harris which is just beautiful! Definitely a must-see if you travel to Bellingham.

We ate at Skylark's, great food, friendly vibe, food was served quickly and delicious. The buildings are brick and from "back in the day" with great views of the ocean and islands.

This is a good place to walk. I found it a little contrived, because although it is designed to look like a historic district much like downtown, it's evident that the buildings are considerably newer and it just didn't feel totally authentic.
