A little bit out of the way off I-5 but a tiny little public swim access might be an ok stopping point. Smaller than tiny might be the best way to describe it as there is almost no real beach and only a few tables.

Since I was in the area and usually zipped by this lake, I decided to drive around it and found this quaint little park with a small hiking trail and small beach to stop in for a nice break.

Deep clean water, oh yeah! Plenty of room to explore. Toys for children to climb on, wash rooms. Bring your floaty and join me out on the lake!
