This is a nice path which is sheltered in the summer because it is lined with trees on both sides. The only drawback is that the trees block some of the views of the ocean. Along the path, there are little posts with historical facts on them.

Only had a short run down this area during a half marathon, but it was beautiful. Amazing view, pretty area, very relaxing. Must come back!

There are lots of places from which to view the amazing sunsets in Bellingham but none are better than from here. Whether strolling after a nice dinner in Fairhaven or simply out for some fresh air, this is the place to be. Absolutely stunning!

The walk takes you out over the water - nice at sunset. The trail is mainly cement so if you have bad feet, legs or hip you might want to skip it.

Take this trail almost every night. The leaves are changing right now so the walk is even ore stunning than usual. The view of the bay is always nice. When the train goes by, it gets pretty loud, but I like trains so therefore I like listening to it.

We walked this path from Bellingham to Fairhaven in about an hour now a beautiful morning. Easy path through light foliage and good views of water. If we lived here I would walk it often!

A wonderful flat trail that goes partly over the Puget Sound waters, partly through parks. It connects Fairhaven to downtown Bellingham. We enjoyed our brisk walk there and recommend it strongly.

My last few visits to B'ham have seen me spending some time on the South Bay Trail. I enjoy running here as an out-n-back 5-miler. The trail funs from downtown B'ham to Fairhaven. Very near the center is Boulevard Park which offers a playground, places to sit overlooking the bay and The Woods Coffee. One of my family's favorite things... More

I had some time to kill in Fairhaven so I thought I would explore the trail and get down to the water. I had no idea I would end up OVER the water on a beautifully built walking pier, would find my way to and through a park, and eventually make my way into downtown Bellingham. I'm not sure exactly...
