A very short walk, less than 100m from the parking lot. The trail is short but has a lot of up-and-down so if you have mobility issues you may not want to try it. However, the road continues onto a bridge where you can look...More

Learn history here about how in 1912' the falls were used to make electricity. This is a very steep area and the trail is short but worth seeing.

The gravel road off SR542 (Mt Baker Hwy) is in decent shape (work crew was filling holes while I was there today) and no problem for average cars to travel. The trails to the falls viewing point are ok but not wheelchair accessible and in...More

The falls are reached by a short but bumpy unpaved road. The story of the falls and surrounding area is interesting to read about. The falls themselves are reached by a very short trail from the parking area. It's a beautiful area and well worth...More

Easy hike off the road. A safely protected ares that allows one to view a wonderful sight. Up close, one sees the power of water. Spilling into the river of the same name, these falls are a must see. Be careful and read the signs...More

I'm not sure one should waste time heading to this waterfall. It's less than stunning. There is really only one place to see it well and any photos are thru a chain link fence. I suppose, if you're into hiking, you could take one of...More

Nooksack Falls is located on Wells Creek Road (NF-33) about 0.6 miles (1.0k) after it departs the Mount Baker Scenic Byway (WA-542) at mile marker 40 about 7.5 miles (12.1k) east of Glacier. While Wells Creek Road is a dirt road with some potholes and...More

Don't miss the signs for the turnoff to the Falls. Windy dirt road with potholes is short so manageable with a car. The road continues over a bridge past the falls and falls parking. We've walked some of it but aren't sure where it goes....More

This is worth the brief trek off the road. Be wise and mind the warnings to stay behind the fence. The view is gorgeous. The water color is aquamarine, possibly from copper in the area.
