Our family had a fantastic time!! A great afternoon spent outside with the kids. We felt safe the entire time, our guides Grant and Alden were absolutely wonderful. Giving it a 4 out 5 only bc for the amount of money you pay for a family, we only wish it had a few more zip lines. Our only complaint. We we would still recommend this activity for families looking for outside fun this summer.

The staff were wonderful and the course was beautiful. I’ve zip-lined before on the longest course in the USA and this course was superior. We took two boys, ages 11 and 14, and they rated it five stars. It’s important to know that the course is done in stages, and the staff/guides have to go through safety measures at the beginning and end of every stage or zip. While that is a bit anti-climactic if you want to go go go, it’s necessary for your safety which enables confident enjoyment. Don’t go if you’re greatly afraid of heights. Go if you like mild and novel adventure.

I took my two kids, ages 8 and 9, and we all had a blast. Elliot and Kat were our guides. They were professional, relaxed, funny and engaging. While it's definitely a thrill to jump from 80 feet up, we all felt safe and empowered. Highly recommend this adventure for families, couples, anyone young or old who wants to try something out of their comfort zone.

Our family enjoyed the experience, but honestly, I'm disappointed. I expected it to be more fun and exciting, perhaps with a few more challenges, but all we did was go from one tree to the next on a zip line. The guides are fun and fully committed to safety, which I appreciate, but that makes the course painfully slow and boring: if the group is full (8 people) plus the 2 guides, that means you'll stand on a platform waiting for each of the 9 people to have all the security checks done, clip, zip down, unclip, security checks again at each end of the line before you can have a turn. I guess the 2.5-hour total time helps them justify the cost of $70-$85/person. I'll write this one off as a valid family activity but I won't be going back.

Our zip line tour was so enjoyable. We had a group of 8, two families with 4 kids ranging from 10-13. Our zip line guides Nicole and Janelle were so patient, informative, funny and skillful. We all had such a great time and by the end we were doing some fancy tricks. We’ve been zip lining many times before in different parts of the country and feel it was a very well planned and run adventure park

This was my second time at Bellevue Zip Tour. Both times I brought a group of Girl Scouts. The guides (Tanner and Grant) were great - patient, supportive, and they love their job! It's just beautiful being up in the canopy of the trees. Felt very safe and even our kids who started out nervous had a wonderful time.

If you go this late in the season, make sure you dress very warmly! it took me an hour before I could feel my feet and hands again. But I loved the experience. I was afraid that my fear of heights might ruin it, but Sarah Elizabeth and Elliot are excellent about making you feel safe and secure. I ended up laughing while I was zip lining (okay, I screamed once or twice too). There is a choice of getting off after a few or continuing. All eight of us continued. I even got brave enough to try spinning around, to go “look Ma, no hands”, to try swinging, etc. I hope I can make this an annual thing. What a great activity for a birthday, to show oneself one is not yet too old to enjoy a little craziness. I am in awe of the trees more than ever. Although some of the platforms are small, one is tethered at all times. I always felt safe and secure. These folks atBellevue Ziplines are professionals! caution: don’t go to Stranders in Tukwila cause that’s HQ. The zip lines park is in Bellevue on Newport

We had an absolutely fabulous time with Grant and Elliot as our guides. My youngest son was very trepidatious about heights and they were so competent and personable that they made the day a huge success for him. I am so grateful to them for making the day so fun for the entire family.

This place is a great place to spend the day. It was easy to find and checking in was easy. I brought my friend there to celebrate her 55th birthday. We had a blast. Our guide's , Tanner and Grant were very helpful and you could definitely see that they enjoy their job. They really went out of their way to ensure that we had a special day. We plan on returning soon. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun, different experience.

Elliot, Kat, and Aiden provided me and my 71 year old mother a zip line experience that managed to be thrilling, welcoming, reassuring and safe all at the same time.
Although you're right in Bellevue, the forest was so dense and quiet we felt like we were hiking in the Olympics, up in the canopy with the hawks and crows. Safety checks and instructions were thorough, and the guides' patience with questions and encouragement had many of us first-time zipliners trying backwards trust falls and cannonballs by the end.
Would totally go again.

We are planning a trip (3 adults) in August 2020. Will you be open?

I have an adult son (21 years old) who has zip lined once before. Are these lines exciting enough for young adults or are they more for families with kids?
Written February 14, 2020
I think it's fun for all ages and level of abilities. The staff there is excellent. Might be best in nice weather though.

Can 5 years old kids do ziplining with you? An adult will be with the kid.
Written July 9, 2018
I don’t know their rule but I would be hesitant as it does require some attention that might not be there for 5 year olds. I did see some smaller kids in the group before me. I’d just give them a call and talk with them.

Hello,
The tour is now open for the season. Tours are 2.5 hours and we can do custom schedule for groups as large as 40. However, there is no special pricing.

Are there any weather restrictions? Was thinking of doing this next week but per Washington standard in November, weather not the most optimal... :)
Written November 22, 2016
Thanks for asking about the tour and weather. Generally the only weather that cancels tours is lightning and high wind. However, right now, the tour is close until April 1, 2017. Come back and see us for a great spring adventure.

What age is the youngest or weight of a person to participate?
Written February 26, 2016

Thanks for asking! The youngest age someone can participate in the Zip Tour is 9 years old, with adult accompaniment. Youth ages 9-13 must be accompanied ONTO the tour by an adult, and each adult can supervise up to two youth. Youth ages 14 - 17 must have an adult present onsite for the duration of the tour.
The weight requirements for the tour are that guests fall between 60 lbs. and 275 lbs. This has to do with physics, and we're happy to explain. ;-)
If you have any other questions, just let us know!

Do you have to book this in advance? What's the average cost for three (2 kids and an eager husband)?
Written February 1, 2016
Mandy S
Orting, Washington
Sorry for the delayed response - for some reason we weren't notified that there was a question! The 2016 rates for the tour are $78 for adults and $49 for youth ages 9-17.
If you have a specific time that you're looking to come hang out with us, booking 72 hours in advance is definitely recommended. Tours usually fill, but if there are no takers we'll cancel that tour and put the staff on other tasks.
If you have any other questions, ask away! :-)
