swimming area

they have a roped off swimming area for the kids. I would recommend life jackets for anyone who can't swim and for all children 5 and under.

It is a great park for kids, they have a swimming area and a playground. For camping the sites have no privacy and it was a loud campground, we went during the week so I can't imagine how the weekend would be. it has trails going around the lake, you can fish but no motorboats. They have bathrooms and showers,... More

We just came back from our weekend there and are not necessarily impressed. We picked the campground due to it's proximity to some places we wanted to visit and state parks offer the convenience of showers and bathrooms with water. The park itself is on the smaller side, which I totally like, but I think we were just unlucky this... More

We frequent this park to walk the trail around the lake. It's a great short trail for our dog and packing small children. Its a great day out for the family! We sometimes pack a lunch and eat at the picnic tables before or after our hike.

A Beautiful park. Lovely swimming "beach" area; ideal for children and those who are new to fishing. Many, many smokers camp here. The cigarette smoking is not patrolled at all; on the beach, around the lake, at the dock, by the restrooms. EVERYWHERE! Very sad. We camp a lot and the bathrooms in the campground were atrocious compared to the... More

The beautiful Lake in the morning it's nice to put your kayak in the water and enjoy the views. It's a small Lake. Sometimes we like to go to Battle Ground Lake and my young boys fish. I would not recommend going in the water the water is still water not freshwater. I see people swimming out there but the... More

We went there for a walk last month and it was very nice. The lap around the lake takes about 20-30 minutes and is peaceful. They have fishing, swimming and boating as well. Extremely deep water since it is in an extinct volcano!

My family and I love going to this park and happens to be one of our favorites. The location is good and it's not a far drive. The lake is very relaxing if you like that and there is a place to hike. The campsites are a good size and I like the ones where you can park your car... More

A friend took my husband and 2 girls on a small boat to go fishing on this lake. Adults require a fishing license, but the girls didn't need one. The limit is 5 per person fishing. They got 15 fish; very nice size; very calming and just absolutely beautiful. My brother in law and I walked around the whole lake... More

The park was nice, but busy. The trails were nice, but the overall map is not printed correctly - it has the parking lot on the wrong side and is not really to scale at all. Be careful with your pups - some people did not have their dogs on leashes.
