About
Fletcher Bay Winery is truly a one of a kind boutique winery on Bainbridge Island with the tasting room located next to a brewery and across from a distillery. We use many of the Bordeaux grapes as well as Tempranillo and Sangiovese, to create delicious blends and single varietals. Grapes are sourced from some of the finest vineyards in the Yakima and Walla Walla Valleys. French, Hungarian, and Virginia oak barrels are used to complete the quality aging process resulting in wines which exude the quality and character. Barrel tasting available on request.

The location is a bit odd, in a business park but it's next to a craft brewery and across from a distillery. They have indoor and outdoor seating on at least 2 levels. We each got a red flight and all of the wines were excellent. They offer some light snacks but we ordered a pizza from the place across the parking lot and brought it in no problem.

Escaped the heat for a bit waiting for a delayed ferry. Close to the ferry as well so when you see the cars coming off you can hustle your bustle.
Interesting wines from the state. knowledgeable staff. Especially enjoyed the rose now if I can only find the receipt with the name!

My wife and I love going here for tastings. The flights and snacks are affordable, the staff is super friendly and they have a loft area that’s great for kids. This our go to winery when we are in the area. The platters come with so much so they’re great for sharing, no stinginess at all on the cheese or other food.

I called 10+ times during open hours the last two weeks trying to reserve a spot for 6 people at the winery that accepts reservations. No one ever contacted me back after leaving voicemails. We ended up going to the downtown location since I never received a response and was told that we couldn’t move the two table tops /chairs together for our party of 6 (we were the first people there and the outdoor tables were right next to each other.) Throughout our stay, not only was the staff allowing others to move chairs/tables but they were even helping customers do so. The service was less than welcoming and provided no context or knowledge about the wines. We went to 4 wineries throughout our trip and this was by far our least favorite due to service and the taste of the wines. The red blend I had tasted rancid/skunked. Would not recommend coming here especially given that multiple other customers are commenting about how poor the service is and other wineries being so much better. Would recommend Eagle Harbor Winery or Rolling Bay if you are looking for a better experience.

We brought our family who was visiting from out of town to this winery for a tasting and had a fantastic time! The wines were great...especially the Sangiovese and Riesling (very dry and delicious). The wine maker is great and was pouring our wine and sharing his passion with us. I'd highly recommend visiting this winery if on Bainbridge Island.

Such a great winery in a great location! The wines were fantastic and the winemaker was really fun and knowledgeable. The winery is located next to a brewery and across from a distillery making is a really cool way to spend the afternoon. If you're on the island, you must visit this winery!

This a is great place to enjoy really tasty wines, foods and excellent customer service in a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. We joined another couple for a wine flight and a charcuterie and cheese tray. I chose the red wine flight and my wife chose the fruit wines. We're both red wine lovers but we're open to new, sweeter flavors if done right.

We sat in their outside patio in the back at a table with a large umbrella over it. We could've picked a better table since we were near the exhaust fan to an air conditioner, and my wife and one of our friends wound up sitting partly in the sun as it moved to where the umbrella couldn't block it. For me, the wafting hot air from the exhaust fan was offset my a gentle breeze blowing over me as I sat in complete shade the whole time. We could've moved to a number of open tables but it was our choice to sit and remain there

The red wine flight had four wines. My favorite turned out to be the 1st wine of the flight--Barking Dog Red. It's made from Columbia Valley, WA grapes: 40% Sangiovese, 40% Merlot 20% Syrah. It was a really good quaff and we bought a couple of bottles since my wife also thought it was the best-tasting red of the flight. The other three reds were very nice but this wine was clearly great for drinking on its own or with food.

The four fruit wines flight was surprising to me, being among the best I've ever tasted--and I'm not a fan of most fruit wines. The standouts that we purchased were the Tropical Breeze fruit blend, the Blood Orange and the Blackberry/Raspberry. For me, the Tropical Breeze blend-- peach, mango and pineapple-was wonderful in its gentle complexity that delivered a wonderful tropical nose and flavors. My other favorite was the Blood Orange--in your face nose and flavors that set it apart from any other fruit wine I've drank. I totally loved it. The Black/Raspberry was very good--my wife liked it better than I did--but I'll still drink it!

The charcuterie/cheese platter also had almonds prepared a couple of different ways, chocolate cookies and candies. It was a combo of two or three of their separate platters and was very enjoyable.

We've been to their tasting room on Winslow Way but this was a much more enjoyable experience. We will be back. I especially want to make a return visit because a couple of spots down from the winery there's a pop up kitchen space. On the day we were there, two young men had a pro BBQ rig going and to me it smelled like they were smoking beef brisket. I gotta give that a try the next time if they're cooking it up. But this tasting room stands on its own as a great place to spend some time, drink and eat, and enjoy live music in the evenings.

We started at the Bainbridge Island Distillery and then came over to Fletcher Bay.
It was quiet when we got there, but got pretty busy in the later afternoon. Looked like a good mix of locals and non-locals. We had the salmon dip and crackers and it was very nice. The wines were good, but not amazing.

Visited here during a women's wine weekend. Reservations were easy to make online and service was great. We lived the ambience of the outside patio.
