Small but intriguing. Boutique exhibits of unique contemporary art, such as pieced composed of feathers. The 2nd floor book room, featuring fold out and other 3D volumes is a delight for all ages. Elaboration by the docent in the book room lends even more dimension...More

This is a delightful little museum, thoughtfully curated, and conveniently located on the "main drag" of downtown Winslow. The exhibits change throughout the year and the presentation upstairs on the second floor is particularly enjoyable. It is a welcoming and friendly space in which to...More

This is a lovely little museum just across from the entrance to the ferry terminal. We arrived for our return ferry a little early so we stopped in the museum. It's small, but they have a really unique and beautiful collection. And, it's free! If...More

A small museum with a number of very interesting exhibits. We just saw it walking by and were glad that we went in. The fact that they only ask for donations was a plus.

We particularly liked the paper exhibit which included dolls that were reproductions of pictures of well dressed historical figures but with dog and other animal heads placed upon them. The feather art was also unique and very intriguing.

This is a gem of a museum. The High Point of our visit to Bainbridge Island. Their current exhibition just started. It is evidently the first solo exhibition by artist Patty Grazini and it is fabulous. She uses paper as a medium and her creations...More

BIMA is a fantastic, art gallery/museum, and thanks to generous donors, is free to the public. The artwork is mostly from local artists, and the mediums are quite varied. The cafe is wonderful, with a variety of offerings. It's a short walk from the Seattle-Bainbridge...More

When we went the upstairs display was just not our cup of tea. The first level had some interesting and creative paintings and sculptures. I think it will probably get better as time passes... and for a small community it is quite nice. It’s currently...More

I’ve eaten at the cafe several times. Good food, mid-range prices. Their outdoor seating is nice (weather permitting)!
