Family-friendly. My husband had team/family meetings for his soccer team. Ordered pizza and we could sit upstairs and watch soccer games. Outside, they have a rotating schedule of food carts, and sometimes live music. Also, allows well-behaved dogs.

There's no great food here. They offer bagged pretzels, peanuts & a ziploc baggie with crackers & a wedge of local cheese. The beer is tasty but I wouldn't plan on this place for a meal. Not sure what the Sep 13 reviewer is talking about, maybe she visited another restaurant & was confused?

This place is great! Brews after our ferry ride were next on the list for our Puget Sound adventure day. We made our short trip from the dock over to the brewery, coincidentally right next to a distillery. I ordered their Amber and my boyfriend sampled their "best IPA", both of which we loved. Beers come with a pint full of peanuts, satiating our mid-day munchies before dinner. The upstairs welcomed us with cozy couches, Farside books, and necessary outlets for charging our lifeless smartphones. I was happily surprised to see a hops bag from Bamberg Germany (another place close to my heart) hanging on the wooden cabin style wall upstairs . For their German beers, they actually important the hops from Germany! The brewery is super dog friendly, in fact a small horse sized dog (a big grey great dane ;) ) was sitting on the patio when we arrived. Enjoy!

I'll set the scene, big ole' friendly black lab greets you before you even get in, an elderly gentleman sitting at the bar telling great stories, friendly bartender more than willing to share her recommendations (which turned out perfect), brew master comes out for a quick hello - all with some of the best beer we had while in Seattle. So, if you're going in for just the beer, you'll be thrilled, if you're going in for a friendly local experience, you'll be twice as happy.

My wife and I visited this brewery on a recent trip to the Island. I ordered a flight of beers to get an idea of what this brewery offered. The beers were wonderful. Seems like a lot of locals spend time here. Since this is such a small place there are no servers...you need to place an order yourself at the bar and the food offered is limited. If you are looking for a place that offers good craft beer, this is the place. If you are looking for a place to eat and drink, you would be more happy looking for someplace near the waterfront.

Took the ferry across Pugent Sound to the 4th brewery on our Seattle brewery tour. Was not disappointed with this little gem just a short drive from the ferry dock. Had some wonderful beers and moved on to our next stop.

Bainbridge Island Brewing opened in the summer of 2012 and has quickly become a popular Islander hangout and destination for Island visitors. Located in the "Copper Top" section of Bainbridge, the brewery opens every day at 2 PM and typically serves until 9 PM. The beer lineup is broad but each selection stands tall on its own. They have everything from the lighter side: Kolsh and Pale, to the heavier side: Stout and Porter, to the very adventurous: Puget Sound Giant Hoptopus.....my favorite! The staff is very knowledgable about beer and willing to share their thoughts with the customers. The tasting room is even kid and dog friendly! They have snacks but you can bring in your own real food if you want.

Stopped in to sample the micro brews at this island brewery and really enjoyed it. The local selections were very good. If your on the island take a taxi here (5 minute ride) and sample the beers 0 they have ber flights which are perfect for sampling.

My wife and I stopped in one afternoon for lunch, not realizing that they did not have a kitchen. The server pointed out that they allowed outside food and directed us to a nearby grocery store for sandwiches. Enjoyed the IPA and the people watching on the street.

Good beer and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. Not a ton of seating so i recommend going early. Also close by is the Bainbridge Distillery.
