It’s a bit of a twisty back road way in the country. It’s an absolutely beautiful place surrounded by the vineyards. The 4 of us all ordered flights and it came in a novel presentation. The wines were good with the reds being better than whites. Staff could not have been nicer. We did not order food but it looked nice

Arrived here on a Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed a taste and then shared a bottle of the Rose’. We also ordered a cheese ball and crackers. Both excellent. We had never been here and the place is beautiful. Our wine person was Theresa and we had such a great time that we came back on Saturday to get more to take home. Don’t pass this place up! Theresa made it a great experience both days.

What a lovely place! Think twice before driving your sports car, pick the SUV to access this gem set in the foothills. A one lane bridge carries you across a rushing creek to the vineyard grounds and modern tasting room. Plan to spend an afternoon and walk the grounds, enjoy the wine, the food, and excellent service.

Very disappointed we go there with a party of 8 and there were many empty large tables reserved inside and outside where heaters were but they would not let us use any of them and we wound up wine tasting in the cold with sleet and snow and no heater. An hour after the reserved tables were still empty when we left. We later met up with another couple we met at Muse and they said the same tables were still empty when they left more than 30 minutes after we left. This is really terrible service for a place that appeared to have good reviews. Sorry the two pregnant ladies in our group had to endure the cold for so long. They were very unacommodating! We will not be back.

This winery has a superb location near the Shenandoah river, surrounded by woods, vineyards, mountains, and fields. The building is gorgeous. I bought the five glass tasting, pricy at $20 given the wine quality. They also serve food, the quesadillas were filling and delicious, the charcuterie plate tasty but on the small side. Service was spotty and I was astonished that no one was available to answer questions I had about the wine. I have visited hundreds of wineries over the years and I don't remember this happening before. The two white wines were not flawed, though I struggled to finish them. The rose was slightly better. The first red was strange, a cabernet franc apparently made with grapes from the youngest vines. It was disappointing, especially when I compared it to the wine my friend had bought by the glass, the normal cabernet franc, that was well made and rewarding. Especially weird was the fact that the inferior cabernet franc in the tasting was not available for sale by the bottle. It appeared they were disposing of inferior wine by serving it as part of the five glass tasting flight. They should serve good wines in the tasting flight so customers are tempted to buy the bottles. The final red was a petit verdot that was fine. Wine prices were high given the mediocre quality.

The two main reasons to go to this vineyard are the stunning grounds.... inside and out! And their wine flight presentation is fun and tall! But we were majorly disappointed in their employees. They were not friendly or efficient.

Go in the late afternoon when the building is shading the entire patio.... no need for umbrellas at the tables!

When our flights were brought to the table, the girl spilled a glass of wine on my son.... thankfully it was one of the whites, as she never acknowledged it other than a brief and delayed "oh" and she never returned with napkins to dry him off. When I went inside to retrieve a few napkins and a soda that was not brought out with our flights, all the employees were really good at avoiding eye contact and helping me. I practically had to knock two people down for help.

There is a cool swinging bridge nearby that is worth walking across.

We came here once a year and a half ago on a Saturday and they were closed due to Covid… So, we came back recently and hoped they would be open this time and they were. This place gets very popular, so be prepared for large crowds!

The wines are just OK… nothing special. The staff was rushed, not very friendly and seemed like they were doing us a favor by helping us, rather than providing excellent service.

The venue is pretty, grounds are decent. Overall, I can say that we’ve gone and mark it off as another VA winery that we’ve been to. But I don’t see making a special trip to return.

We visited the winery on Sunday afternoon. We followed the signage from Woodstock. I found myself on a single lane unpaved road. Twice myself and another vehicle had to back up so the two cars could pass. Were we on the right road??? Soon we came to a single lane bridge over a river. The winery was in sight. Now another car was turning on to the road the bridge was on. I am not backing up again. Was the road we came in on one way??? Exiting signs were also poorly marked. Considering your winery is in the middle of nowhere...and people are drinking..please have better signs.
The wine was excellent, food was good, service was good.
You might call the winery for directions. Next trip will be a winery with an easier location to find.

Most beautiful winery we've been to. The tasting room looks like a restaurant. Pet friendly, and the staff love animals. Ms Theresa served us and was incredibly personable. Great experience, cannot wait to return.

Lots of people and dogs at this winery! Seating is available inside and outside. The food menu looked delicious but because we had just eaten lunch, we skipped ordering food. We enjoyed the wine and appreciated that someone (the owner?) thanked us as we left on our bus wine tour.
