Wonderful hike! Quiet, solitary, nature-rich hike. Many options and trails. Lots of wildlife (and mosquitoes - to be expected in the summer). I will definitely come back. Very enjoyable.

We saw foxes, deer, turkey, bald eagles, eastern bluebirds, lesser gold fences and indigo buntings and my wife brought home 5 (five) deer ticks. The eagles nests block 1/3 of the Park from walking traffic so plan to do a lot of extra walking and...More

A nature lover's and bird watchers delight. This wildlife refuge is especially beautiful in the fall with colorful foliage.

Great place for a quick journey into the woods. Pleasant trails with much of them along the bay or river. Some wildlife with mostly birds. Chance to see bald eagles and ospreys diving and catching fish.

We did the 1 mile drive through for our first trip here. Inexpensive at only $2 per car. But we only saw hikers. I would imagine we might have seen more if we had parked and walked the hiking trails. The bitd houses that we...More

This small area is off behind the Woodbridge VRE station, and is a must stop for anyone into birds. It's under a major "highway" used by migratory birds, and you can see a large variety of species if you have the time. Wonderfully wild. Wear...More

This is one of the major migratory bird stopping points on the eastern seaboard. Depending on when you visit, it is astonishing.
