If you haven't been yet.. You don't know what you are missing. Great for hearing new music and meeting new people.. Even if your not into great music and new people.. Go to support the local beer. :)

Pretty cool place here in Winchester! We went for a comedy show I'm the radiant room upstairs. One comedian Tracey Locke was hilarious and Reggie Rice was okay. The room is awesome minus some weird sight lines because of poles, but we now know where to sit. The bar service was good with as decent selection. We definitely look forward to more shows here!

We went on a recent Saturday night. The place was sold out, but service was still good. Our server, Josh, was attentive and knowledgeable. We first ordered the cheese plate. It came with cheddar cheese, nothing-out-of-the-ordinary store bought crackers and a boat load of pickles, which had too much vinegar and were soft, vice crisp. Cheese and crackers were the same as you probably have at home right now. We next tried the flat bread with prosciutto and gorgonzola. The bread and prosciutto were prepared well, bit it seemed as if the chef treated the gorgonzola as if it were mozzarella. The gorgonzola was applied with a heavy hand then melted. Even I, a lover of blue cheese/gorgonzola, found it too sharp to eat. Unfortunately, given the ongoing music performance, we were unable to provide feedback to our waiter.

My wife and I visited Bright Box for the first time this weekend to see "Caravan of Thieves" show. The show was delayed for two days due to snow but we were glad we attended the make up date. First, the staff was outstanding. They all thanked us for supporting the venue and invited us to return for more events. The sound system was clean and not too loud. Decent bar selection and a very clean facility. This is a great addition to the Old Town Walking Mall in Winchester!!

Saw the dueling pianos show. It was fantastic. The pianists were great. Super talented and fun to listen to. They were engaging with the crowd.

First time here. Had little hard time finding it. It’s actually on like a private no traffic street. Parking was hard to find due to a wine fest going on. There is metered parking which you can use or park in the garage at $1 hour which I didn’t think was bad. Establishment well stage kind of almost fills the room. It was ok tho. I traveled about 5 hours to go see Kevin Lee who is a great magician and funny/awesome comedian. Follow him & go see a show you won’t be disappointed. Back to establishment. Had full menu of food & drinks. Food came out a little cold but was edible and quite good. I had bacon meatballs as appetizer and then a burrito and rice. Free refills on soda was a plus as well. This place does a lot of comedy and some very good shows coming up. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Servers had like a iPad such thing to swipe your payment at table and few options for receipts.(email/text etc...) which was pretty neat. Would definitely go again if wasn’t to far away. Nice night out tho. Thanks to the staff as well as the great show by “Kevin Lee”

All you have to do is look at the line-up of quality entertainers and you'll understand why the Bright Box Theater is the place to go for a night out in Winchester. Intimate atmosphere with great food and drinks. Go see comediennes, folk singers, blue grass and much much more. Right on the Old Town Mall in historic Winchester, I promised you will enjoy your experience at the Bright Box.

This is a small, intimate place and not many bad seats. Most tables are close to the stage. Tickets are priced reasonably, but not the food. Most entrees are not even small appetizers and are priced around $13. I had the pork sliders which are three bite size buns with a tablespoon of pulled pork and chips. It was warm at best and gone in three bites. The flatbread is just as bland and just as small. Drinks are what you would expect to pay at a club. We ended up paying many times in food than we did in admission. Lesson learned.

A group of us went to see a hypnotist and it was so much fun. The wait staff was very sweet and attentive, but the food was not great. I love that they have such a variety of acts...keep things interesting.

We always enjoy a night out at the Bright Box, whether it's a date night or night out with friends. They bring incredible acts, from music to comedy and theatre, to our downtown area, giving Old Town a great energy and evening entertainment outlet. I also love that they have partnered with Shenandoah Conservatory to expand their musical offerings. The Bright Box staff is fantastic, the food is great, and you can order a meal (and beer or wine) tableside before and during a show. It's definitely a Winchester Must-Visit, whether you are a local or visitor.
