Kiskiack Golf Course is an average quality course but is well planned out. There is plenty of room for a 20 handicapper to err but other nearby courses have better conditions and less obtrusive maintenance workers. During the 1st week of June 2021, my foursome enjoyed the Golden Horse’s green course and especially the gold course as well as the Royal Oak & Viniterra courses during a package trip. Kiskiack allows local volunteers to work for free golf and one of them pestered our group for 4-5 holes by blowing the sand and dirt from their wonderful wide concrete cart paths. He blew the sand and dirt all over our carts and clubs, sometimes actually creating dust storms that stretched way beyond our hitting distances. Two complaint calls to the pro shop did little to end the nuisance. As nice as the starters and pro shop folks were, we won’t be going back.

Very friendly staff and the starter runs a tight ship. Even though it was busy, our wait for the group ahead was minimal. Very well maintained course with enough challenges to keep it interesting. More so on the back nine. A limited menu and hours in the restaurant (probably due to Covid), food was average but the waitress was wonderful. We look forward to returning in the fall.

Starter was very friendly, but pro shop was not so friendly. Informed it was cart paths only when checking in at pro shop. Requested a handicap flag and was denied.
Asked why and told it rained on Friday and this was Tuesday.
Course was interesting, but due to parallel holes was somewhat dangerous as blind errant shots were a concern.

After four days of rain I was finally able to get to play this course. I found it a nice challenging course. Lots of water and sand, a long hitter can pull their driver out on several holes. I am by no means a good golfer and I had a blast. Everyone was super friendly.

Beautiful golf course!!Well maintained! Fair greens, just beautiful! But the staff needs work. The starter is a great guy! Scott, but at 3pm they are starting people every our minutes.so you are on the heals of a foursome!! Stacked up! people are hitting there ball ,and you are in the fairway! Went you talk to the group behind you they say they are getting pressured!!! And to top it off the snack bar closes at 5pm!!!! The course has a close time of 7pm! But the snack bar will close at 5pm!!! I don't understand??

Had an afternoon free and set a tee time at this club. A wonderful experience. Course was in decent condition, both greens and fairways. No hidden trouble on your shots. Fast pace of play too. Don’t be too tempted to go for it off the tee on number 18. You need to be able to carry your drive at least 210 to 220.

It's hard to find a fairly priced round of golf, especially in Williamsburg, but Kiskiack takes the cake. The course played great for February and I can't wait to get out again in the spring time when their hard work over the winter pays off.

But let's talk about the bar area for a minute. Not only do they have local brews on tap, but the food is amazing. I had the daily special which was a hand breaded (to order!) chicken sandwich with homemade (!) mozzarella and tomato. With chips and a drink the meal was $8. It was easily one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. My friend opted for a standard hot dog and it was like nothing I've seen at a course before.

From what I understand, the course was purchased by a local family last year, and you can tell the improvements being made right away. The care to detail and quality over the bottom line is everywhere.

This golf course is a lovely course. The holes are varied and challenging. and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The course is just under 5000' long, with lots of rolling small hills for elevations changes. The roughs are thick grass that can swallow your ball in an instant. We played a round, using carts, in just under 4 hours. The setting is beautiful, with lots of trees and green to admire. Golf Digest lists this as one of their "courses to play" for this area. The course is very well kept, and the staff are very encouraging and supportive. This was a great round of golf. The course is about a 15 minute drive out of Williamsburg, so you will need to drive to get there. With discounts for our resort, we were able to play a round for $49 with cart.

Always a fun round of golf at a reasonable price. A traditional park land layout that you you can walk or ride. A good mix of holes, none too hard, but you still have to make good shots. Typically In good condition. Always a good addition to. Williamsburg golf trip - a good balance to the more expensive or more difficult courses in the area. It is very popular with outings, so if you are not part of one, you might want to inquire before booking a tee time.
