An interesting and different evening. Eat dinner and then help solve the mystery play presented by the dining room staff -- in the dining room. Food is not a mystery -- more like home cooking. Expect to meet others at your table. Killer service, but...More

My husband and I were on our honeymoon. We both love drama and theater. We heard about the Mystery Dinner Playhouse through coupons that were being distributed around Williamsburg. The service (which happens to be the actors/actresses as well!!!) was great. We really enjoyed the...More

My husband and I went to this "dinner show" while I was pregnant as a special treat for me since I couldn't really enjoy the coasters I normally ride. Even with the discount coupons, the dinner show with tip ended up being very pricey. The...More

I think the actors tried but with no amplication they had to shout which makes it hard to act. Still we could not hear half of what was going on. The food horrible. Very sad.

My wife and I went to the Williamsburg show on 11/9/2010. We paid $80+ with a coupon for the show. We were bombarded by a guy in the lobby trying to sell timeshares which could be unrelated but you could tell he just came to...More

I had a wonderful time! The actors were fun and hilarious and really included us in the show. There was a lot of food for the price (four courses) and very good. I would recommend this to anyone in Williamsburg for the day.

We (4 adults) recently attended the Mystery Dinner Playhouse and came away rather disappointed. The play and actors/actresses did a good job and were included in the play and had several good laughs. But unfortunately the food was absolutely disguisting. We had 2 fish dinners...More

I found the overall evening worthwhile. While the food was not up to the standards of a fine dining establishment, it was, to steal a line from Neil Simon's The Star Spangeled Girl, " good, basic, American food." When combined with a fun evening with...More
