We took the tour with Allison and had a great time! She never rushed and took 2 hours. It was as much history and interesting facts as it was ghost stories, which I personally loved. It also made it that much more fun me and my kids to tour Colonial Williamsburg the next day being able to reference back the stories that Allison talked about the previous night. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat.

We booked a private Ghost Tour for four adults and two teenagers in Williamsburg. Allison was easy to contact and very responsive to our interests. It was so enjoyable to be in just our group, enjoying her stories and answering our questions. The tour wasn’t rushed and worth every penny. We highly recommend Axwild Ghost Tours and can say it was a highlight to our visit

Perfect evening of ghost tales and history! Allison was so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. She was engaging and personable. A walking tour with plenty of time for taking pictures and asking questions. Loved the ghostly tales! Would definitely be a repeat customer. Everything was outdoors and felt very safe wearing masks (as did everyone else on the tour) during Covid Highly recommend!!

The ghostly tour was amazing; I had a wonderful time with Alison as the tour guide. It was interesting, hearing all the stories Alison shared with us about Williamsburg in the 1800's, its ghost sightings and the stories preceding them.
The entire time was fun, the weather was good too & the tour was enjoyable overall.

This tour was a fun evening experience for the family. Ranging from 11 yr old to adult children and adults. Very educational and learned a lot more things about colonial Williamsburg. Even looks like may have captured a ghost with a white beard looking out a window while taking a pic of my kids 👀 I didn’t give 5 stars just because it was so hot but that’s not the yours fault. Bring water. Oh and we found a Groupon with discounted rate tickets 😃

Allison was a fantastic ghost tour expert. Her stories and information was fascinating and chilling. Strange occurrences did happen to my family (wife’s hair was swiped but no one was near-she thought I was pranking her; and I saw something move - curtain/wall divider moved for a second while staring in top left window on right side (photo enclosed). Definitely recommend this tour!

My family and I joined Allison on her ghostly tour last night. We all had a great time as she guided us around and shared her many stories. If you are going to do a ghost tour this is the one you want to do.

There are many ghost tours in Williamsburg and we chose this one because we found a coupon for it. I'm not sure what we expected, but we did think this would be a little bit scarier then it was. We did learn some interesting facts about Williamsburg, as our guide was very knowledgeable with the history of the town.

My childrem really enjoyed the ghost tour. The guide was a natural entertainer. The kids bought all of her foreshadowing hook, line, and sinker, and they were really into the experience (looking for ghosts and such).
The guide remembered our names and made things interactive. She had a very witty way of weaving history, stories, sayings, etc together.

Our guide was very interesting and told good historical stories about the town of Williamsburg; however after beginning the tour with an interesting ghost story about the College of William and Mary, it was another 30 minutes into the tour before we heard another ghost story. My 11 year old son loved the history lessons that the guide shared during the tour, but I was expecting more ghost stories. I rated the tour 4 out of 5 stars because it was still very interesting. You should just prepare yourself for more of a history lesson, instead of hearing many ghost stories.
I also thought it was a little tacky that a "tip jar" was put out at the end of the tour asking for tips for our guide. This particular tour was the most expensive "ghost tour" that I saw advertised for Williamsburg, and while this tour was 30 minutes longer than most other tours; I didn't think that asking customers for a tip at the conclusion was appropriate based on the cost that was already paid.

I got tickeys all except my 6 year old is she able to attend and her price to attend

There is no charge for children under 6 but we ask that parents keep them under close supervision so they do not distract other guests in the group.

I have a Living Social voucher for Axwild Ghost Tours but the website says that it is closed permanently. Is this true?
We are due to fly out to the USA in the next week and this was one of our planned activities. If it has closed I shall want to get my money back.
