We have always enjoyed staying here. We come in the off season when the weather is still nice but the kids are back in school. It's quiet. The villas are clean and nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly. If you golf, the country club is close by and free rounds are offered, paying the card fees only. Location is about... More

We own two weeks with Marriott and have stayed at various locations. We have not been disapointed with any. They are well maintained, clean and up to date. We are in a one bedroom Villa and have taken advantage of our full kitchen to cook two dinners as well as breakfast and lunch. Speak to Paula soon after check in... More

What a fantastic spot! So clean and complete! Everything in its place; everything working and clean, put together, cozy, and unexpectedly beautiful. We rented a 2 bedroom villa for our little family of five and our parents. There was room for everyone and everything was top quality and impeccably clean. I would highly recommend to any young families visiting Williamsburg.

I stayed here on business but will be back with my family. It is a perfect location close to everything. All attractions and restaurants are within a short drive and the service and staff are second to none!

Really enjoyed the actual golf course. I played the Blue Heron course. However, the staff from the bag drop to starter didn't meet hospitality expectations. One yelled at me not to take a cart to the parking lot. A simple "Sir, please return the cart to the course. May I assist you with your clubs?" Would have much more professional.... More

Ford's Colony has three golf courses, all similar and designed by the same person. They all have: * Homes along the fairways and greens, but they do not impose on your game. Most are very attractive and well landscaped * Lots of water, terrain change and bunkers. * We played in April and all three course were in pretty rough... More

I don't understand how Trip Advisor lumps ice cream parlors, hamburger joints, and golf courses with restaurants that are trying to provide a quality meal. Doing so certainly skews the ratings. There is no way that the Ford's Colony dining room should be ranked so low in the Williamsburg listings. My wife an I ate there several days ago; the... More

This is the second time we have been to Ford's Colony. The first was in the dead of winter when we came to Williamsburg and this is our second time in September. We have enjoyed both experiences. The staff at the vacation club is knowledgeable about the area and attractions. We toured Jamestown one day, Yorktown the second day and... More

My husband and I traded our time share week to visit Ford's Colony. We were very happy with the accomodations. We requested a quiet area and were put on the 2nd floor of the Jamestown Bldg., end of hall. The only thing I had wished for was a balcony because staying in the one room, got a little cramped after... More
