I am scared of heights. True. Bleachers, six foot ladders, all that... But, helpful hint you've all heard a thousand times, "don't look down". True. You can overcome your fear here because you are strapped in and hooked with no less than three hooks. I am competitive and that helped because once I made it up the first tree...and...let go... GoApe is a great place for younger kids. However for the adult with athletic ability it won't be quite as challenging. The pros were that we had a great group! They made all the obstacles more fun. We had a kid in our group and let me tell you, he wasn't afraid of much. The cons were that everyone in... More

Your son only turns 14 once! So I gave him some options that were free from indoors, video games and electronics. He chose Go Ape. It's been blazing hot so we went at 11:30. Despite reading all sorts of things I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it'd be some simple less than exciting zip lining.. WRONG! It is... More

We had a family of 4 two adults two teenagers, everyone was ready to go but me.. I was ready to just follow on the trail n take pictures. The staff was great, they sensed my fear, and told me to go look around, and if I tried the training session and didn't want to cotinue they would give me... More

We were a family of 5 with 3 children 10/12/14. We had a great morning overcoming our fear of heights, working together and lots of laughter. The safety briefing was excellent and although an instructor does not go round with you there is always a member of staff close by if needed. Richard was our instructor and he was great!... More

Initially when my wife wanted to do this I thought it would be your everyday zip lining experience, but it was that and so much more. There were obstacles and you could go at your own pace. It was so much better than just zip lining.

My husband and teenage boys absolutely loved this! One of the best zipline/ropes courses they've been on! It takes about 3 hours depending on if you take all the advanced obstacles or go the easier route through the course. Definitely worth the money but in the summer get there early as it gets HOT on the course even though much... More

The course for the adults is what I did. I followed the extreme route all the way through. For it being my first time doing one of these and being a person that doesn't workout often I still got through it. I enjoyed it VERY MUCH! You will be tested to overcome your fear of heights, if you have any,... More

My husband and I had a good time trying this Go Ape Adventure Park out. It's easy to find in Williamsburg, VA and nearby to the outlets, shopping, downtown Williamsburg and tons of restaurants. So location is good - it's not far from most all of that with a 10-20 minute drive between you and some snacks and reward shopping... More
